Check Out This Giant Light Installation at Wan Chai in March

Hong Kong is about to unveil its newest gem, the Wan Chai Harbourfront Event Space, which will open its doors in mid-March. This exciting addition to the city's bustling cultural scene will feature an international light installation, 'Run Beyond,' by renowned Italian artist Angelo Bonello. The captivating light art show will grace the Wan Chai Harbourfront for a month in March, offering visitors a visual feast.

Angelo Bonello's 'Run Beyond' series has gained global recognition since its inception in 2015. It has adorned major landmarks in cities such as Amsterdam, Toronto, Washington D.C., Singapore, Liverpool, and London. Now, this impressive 65-meter-long installation will take centre stage at the new 13,000 square meter space in Wan Chai, captivating audiences from both sides of Victoria Harbour.

The grand opening of the Wan Chai Harbourfront Event Space will be marked by a gala ceremony in mid-March. Angelo Bonello himself will be present, engaging with visitors and adding a personal touch to the event. The festivities will include a lively DJ party, as well as a variety of food and beverage stalls for visitors. This extraordinary celebration, named 'illuminate! Run Beyond,' will be available for public viewing until mid-April.

Over the next few months, the Art@Harbour 2024 exhibition will grace both the Central and Tsim Sha Tsui sides of the harbour with hundreds of luminous light installations adorning the glittery skyline.
