It seems only yesterday when we felt like January was an entire year and now it feels like we’re asking ourselves how it is March already over again. Not to mention, it’s almost time for school holidays! If you’re looking for something to do this month, here are some activities for (almost) all ages you can do with your loved ones.

Heads up, Vincent van Gogh fans! You only have until March 16 to enjoy the most visited multi-sensory experience in the world. Don’t miss your chance to step into the creative mind of the Dutch painter who has made a name for himself worldwide. Enjoy hundreds of artworks on display, light and sound installations, a VR experience, and a painting corner to bring out your inner artist.

Get your tickets via its official Malaysia website, Klook, or CloudJoi. Prices range from RM68 (kids 6-12 years old, seniors 60+) to RM75 (adults with MyKad) or RM110 (adults with no MyKad). Children aged five years old and below are free of charge.

The wait is finally over as “The World of Tim Burton Exhibition” is finally opening its doors on March 21. The good news? Tim Burton himself will attend the opening and have a book signing for 100 VIP ticket (RM1,500) holders! If you’re a fan of “The Nightmare Before Christmas,” “Edward Scissorhands,” “The Corpse Bride,” and his other gothic horror and fantasy films, this is an exhibit you and your loved ones shouldn’t miss. Before we forget, he’s also the executive producer and director (four episodes) of the Netflix hit series “Wednesday.”

Get your tickets via KOL Nation. Prices range from RM68 (kids 6-12 years old, students 13-23 years old, and seniors 60+ years old) to RM88 (general admission). In case you haven’t been here yet, “The World of DC Exhibition” has two months left before it officially closes its doors on April 1. Being the first launch in Asia, this exhibit features authentic movie props that bring scenes to life, behind-the-scenes concept art, interactive elements like motion-sensing games, and exclusive merchandise of the most iconic superheroes and villains in the DC Cinematic Universe. It’s a must-visit for the entire family!

‘Demon Slayer Total Concentration’ Exhibition

Whether you’re a self-proclaimed anime geek or someone who watches anime casually, you’ve most likely heard of "Kimetsu no Yaiba" ("Demon Slayer"). Who hasn’t, really? There’s a reason this action-packed anime is loved internationally by people of all ages. If you’re looking for something exciting to do this month, head over to Pavilion Bukit Jalil (Level 2/Pink Zone) to step into an experience like no other!

The “Total Concentration Exhibition in Malaysia,” which opened last month, features different zones that highlight the anime’s settings and characters, plus their Demon Slayer Corps uniforms, Nichirin swords, and techniques. There are also signed illustrations on display and a merchandise corner where you can buy official goods.

Get your tickets, which range from RM40 (persons with disabilities and kids 12 years old and below) to RM50 (13 years old and above), via Ticket2u and choose from three timeslots: 10 AM, 2 PM, and 6 PM.

Sip & Paint Night

Invite the whole family for a different kind of night out! From “Brilliant Unicorn” to “Starry Night” by Vincent van Gogh, enjoy painting your chosen theme while sipping a glass of wine (or orange juice for minors). No experience required! Their mentors will assist and teach you every step of the way.

Have a tight schedule? No worries. Check Art & Bonding’s Eventbrite profile to see which dates are open for sessions this month. Registration includes a glass of free drink, a pack of Hershey’s Kisses chocolates to pair with, a 30cm x 40cm canvas, and all the needed art materials (apron, brushes, colour palette, and acrylic paints). There’s also free flowing coffee and tea.
