Maxus' Luxury EV Mifa 9 Gears Up for Malaysia Launch This November
A new age of electric vehicles (EV) is coming to Malaysia soon, as Weststar Maxus is gearing up for the launch of its first-ever luxury multi-purpose electric vehicle, the carmaker announced in a social media post.
To make its debut on Nov. 8, the new Maxus Mifa 9 is pegged to be Malaysia’s first fully electric multi-purpose vehicle (MPV). Ahead of its launch, the new EV already promises to “redefine luxury, sustainability, and performance” with its top-notch features.
There’s not much information on what specifications the Mifa 9 model in Malaysia will carry, but according to SoyaCincau, the new Maxus EV features a top speed of 180 kilometres per hour and a 90-kilowatt-per-hour ternary lithium battery pack that can last up to 440 kilometres.
The said specifications are based on Mifa 9 models previously released in Australia, Singapore, and the United Kingdom. The new Mifa 9 is also expected to rival popular EVs in the country, such as the Toyota Alphard and Vellfire.
While waiting for further information to be unveiled, you can follow Weststar Maxus Malaysia’s Facebook or Instagram pages to stay updated or visit its website to view all their offerings.
