American Rock Band Weezer to Perform at PLUS63 Festival Manila

Prepare to jam with their hits "Island in The Sun," "Say it Ain't So", and "Buddy Holly" as the American rock-alt band Weezer is coming to Manila this year for the PLUS63 Music Festival on Oct. 14 at the SMDC Festival Grounds.

Early bird tickets are now up for grabs through SM Tickets online and SM Tickets outlets nationwide for the annual celebration of music that will include performances by local artists Lola Amour, PLAYERTWO, and mxmtoon. More artists will be announced in the coming weeks.

Before heading to Manila, the band is off for a world tour to bring their greatest hits, including a show in Singapore on Oct. 11. Formed in Los Angeles, California in 1992, Weezer is a four-piece band composed of Rivers Cuomo, drummer Patrick Wilson, bassist Scott Shriner, and guitarist Brian Bell. The rock band peaked during the release of their “Blue Album” in 1994 and has been releasing multiple other LPs since the 1990s.
