Here’s a Look at Hilton Singapore Orchard - Hilton’s Largest Hotel in Asia Pacific

American multinational hospitality company Hilton is set to launch its flagship-branded hotel in Singapore early next year—the result of a S$90-million makeover of the Mandarin Orchard Singapore.
Situated right in the heart of upscale shopping hub Orchard Road, Hilton Singapore Orchard is poised to become the hospitality giant’s largest flagship-branded hotel in the Asia-Pacific. It boasts 1,080 guest rooms and suites that all bear botanical elements in recognition of Singapore’s moniker as a garden city.
With an expected rebound in MICE events as social distancing protocols are eased, Hilton Singapore Orchard is also banking on its massive events facilities. It features 16 meeting rooms, and 1,936 square meters of events space, including two pillarless ballrooms that are fitted with state-of-the-art LED walls and can accommodate up to 1,000 guests. The hotel also boasts five curated dining concepts, including two Michelin-starred Shisen Hanten.

Slated for a January 2022 opening, Hilton Singapore Orchard is flanked by luxury shopping outlets and restaurants dotted across the famed downtown Orchard Road.

“As a hub and key city destination for business and leisure travelers, we are optimistic about the growth potential of Singapore’s hospitality scene as recovery begins and travel resumes over the long-term,” Paul Hutton, vice president for Southeast Asia operations at Hilton, said in a press release.

The hotel offers a swath of room and suite options starting with the King Deluxe Room that costs more than S$399 per night. It also has a 49-square-meter King Premium Family Room that is fitted with a sofa bed, a 55-inch TV, and a separate bathtub. But its swankiest room is the King Presidential Suite, which spans 154 square meters and has a seating area with sofa. One night costs at least S$1,508.

The hotel’s Main Tower and Orchard Wing have their respective club lounges. Other facilities include a well-equipped fitness center and an outdoor pool.
Diversified real estate owner OUE Limited, which owns Hilton Singapore Orchard, announced the S$90-billion makeover early in 2020, with the construction commencing in the second quarter of that year.

At present, Mandarin Orchard is operating under Meritus Hotels & Resorts’ management, which is covered by OUE’s hospitality unit.
