Mandopop singer-songwriter and TV personality Jay Chou surprised fans as he appeared as a special guest during the second night of JJ Lin’s “JJ20 World Tour” last weekend.

After kicking off his world tour in Singapore last month, 41-year-old JJ Lin flew to Taiwan to perform on Dec. 3 and 4 at the Rakuten Taoyuan Baseball Stadium in Taoyuan City. His first night included two special guests, Taiwanese band Accusefive (告五人) and his very own JFJ Productions’ newly debuted artist Patti (蔡宥綺).

The second night, on the other hand, had many fans speculating.

While on the piano singing his song “If Only (可惜沒如果),” Lin stopped playing halfway as he stood up and welcomed on stage his good friend, 43-year-old Jay Chou.

The crowd went wild at the surprise appearance as the two Mandopop kings continued singing until the end of the song.

In an Instagram post, Lin said he was thankful to all for being part of his 20 years as an artist. He also thanked Chou for being an amazing guest.

The next stop for JJ Lin’s world tour will be on Dec. 18 at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
