The Rink

Spanning 1,800 square meters, The Rink is Singapore’s first Olympic-sized rink offering a variety of family-friendly activities and ice skating classes. Learning to glide and do tricks in this freezing oasis is easy, thanks to the NROC-certified coaches who teach and guide skaters of all ages. Individual coaching is priced at S$74, while a class for a group of five costs S$171.20 per person. The Rink is open daily from 8 AM-11:30 PM. You can book a session here.

The Singapore Ice Skating Association

The Singapore Ice Skating Association (SISA) caters to aspiring figure skaters and ice skating enthusiasts. It has a dedicated ice skating rink where kids can train and become professional athletes in the future. If you want your little ones to learn the fundamental skills and techniques of ice skating, register at SISA’s “Learn-to-Skate" programmes. Parents may also take part in the training, so lace up your skates and prepare to glide with your kids at SISA’s ice skating rink. For registration fees and schedule, contact SISA.

Kallang Ice World

Take a break from sightseeing in Tanjong Rhu with some skating time at Kallang Ice World, located just beside the Singapore Indoor Stadium. It offers a myriad of skating lessons and classes run by professional skaters. The rink can only hold about 100 guests at the same time, but it’s also nice to watch the other skaters from the sidelines. Adult ticket costs S$17.50, while a session for a child is S$15. Singapore Ice Hockey Association

The Singapore Ice Hockey Association (SIHA) is an organisation that operates ice hockey leagues and skating-related activities in the Lion City. Apart from tournaments, the association also provides exclusive ice skating classes for those who wish to learn the sport. SIHA believes that ice sports are for everyone, so no matter what age you are, learning to skate is a great way to combat stress and have a joyous time with your little ones.
