Great news, Pokémon fans! Italian luxury house Fendi is releasing a special collection this January in collaboration with Hiroshi Fujiwara, Japan’s “godfather of streetwear,” for the Year of the Dragon.

The luxury brand teamed up with Fragment founder Hiroshi Fujiwara and the Pokémon franchise for this capsule release as part of their “Friends of Fendi” project.

“I first met Hiroshi Fujiwara in London in 1999 – and what can I say? He’s one of my idols and I love him. He’s an instigator of the Japanese club, youth fashion, and streetwear scenes. I have been in love with Japan for a long time; its influence on me and what I do is huge – Hiroshi is a major part of that,” Fendi’s Artistic Director of Couture and Womenswear Kim Jones said.

The collection features bags, apparel, and accessories sporting various dragon-type Pokémon like Dratini, Dragonair, and Dragonite to celebrate the upcoming year.

The lineup also includes relaxed clothing pieces such as silk FF pyjamas, hoodies, and T-shirts, as well as key charms, textile accessories, brass jewellery, and more.

“Friends of FENDI” is a diverse series of projects and collections conceived by Kim Jones and Silvia Venturini Fendi, where they work with established designers to produce capsule collections under the luxury brand’s name.

The Fendi x FRGMNT x Pokémon collab is set to drop on Jan. 4 online and in select Fendi boutiques worldwide.
