Celine Unveils Follow-up Pet Accessories Line by Hedi Slimane for FW23

Celine's creative vision takes a delightful turn towards pet fashion as creative director Hedi Slimane unveils his second collection of Celine-branded pet accessories. Drawing inspiration from his beloved canine, Elvis, Slimane extends the luxury and elegance of Celine to the world of pet accessories.

This fascination began early in 2022 when Slimane first introduced his dog-inspired Celine collection. The shaggy-haired canine, named after the legendary Elvis Presley, became the face of the designer's initial foray into dog accessories and saddlery. This debut collection launched in May 2022 and showcased a range of items that reflected the house's expertise in leather and high fashion.

The latest collection, presented in a Slimane-shot campaign in Monaco, maintains the same level of sophistication and craft as Celine's usual offerings.

The range includes a chic dog carrier crafted in Celine-monogram canvas with lambskin trim, an assortment of stylish collars and leads, and an animal-print version of the previous collection’s Triomphe-print canvas feeding bowl.

Moreover, the collection features a sheepskin toy, a sequined treat bag, a brush, and a uniquely designed rattan basket to store a canine's cherished belongings. Notably, a black rubber toy shaped like the house’s historic ‘Triomphe’ monogram makes a return, a luxurious twist on the traditional chew toy.

This innovative collection by Hedi Slimane is not just a nod to his personal muse, Elvis, but also a testament to Celine's ability to blend luxury with everyday life.
