Glenfiddich Releases Limited 30 Year Old ‘Suspended Time’ via Blockchain

Fine spirits producer and purveyor Glenfiddich has announced the launch of their Limited Edition 30 Year Old Suspended Time, a rarity with only 50 bottles up for grabs.

This treasure forms part of the Time Reimagined Collection, offering whisky enthusiasts an opulent experience that bridges the world of tradition with new technologies.

The whisky has been patiently matured for thirty years in a mix of American and European oak, encapsulating the essence of time. Presented in a stylish cylindrical black case with inventive cut-out windows, the packaging offers the illusion that the elegant decanter is suspended in mid-air, a visual manifestation of the collection’s theme of 'reimagining time'.

Glenfiddich Malt Master, Brian Kinsman, regards crafting such an aged whisky as a “balancing act.” With three decades in the making, this malt’s character and flavors have evolved intricately during its maturation process in the iconic Glenfiddich Dufftown distillery.

Available from Sept. 12, exclusively on the BlockBar site, this Limited Edition Glenfiddich 30-Year-Old Suspended Time is available for USD$1075.
