Nintendo Museum in Kyoto is Finally Built and Is Ready to Open by Autumn!
From theme parks to museums, Japan is one of the ultimate destinations in Asia. But for most gamers, Japan is not only a country of rich culture – but also the home to Nintendo, Sony, and Sega, along with many iconic titles like Mario, Sonic, and Pokémon. And this year, they’ve got just another reason for you to visit as the highly anticipated Nintendo Museum will finally be opening in Autumn 2024.
Originally scheduled to be completed last March, the museum has finally finished loading and is now ready to be explored. The museum is located in Kyoto, the heart of Otaku culture, where you’ll find an incredible selection of anime and manga shops, alongside related attractions like the Kyoto International Manga Museum and Toei Kyoto Studio Park.
Fans can expect to see a wide range of Nintendo-related items up close, including old consoles, games, characters, and the brand's latest inventions. There will also be various experiences and entertainment facilities to enjoy.
