7. Loy Krathong Festival at RAKxa
Thais mark the Loy Krathong festival every year to celebrate joy, gratitude, and new beginnings. From the words loy, which means "to float," and krathong, which pertains to a small, floating offering, the festival's highlights include the floating of these offerings on bodies of water. 9. Green Glam: Swap Party + BRC Creative Space Soft Launch
Be a champion of sustainability by joining the Green Glam Swap Party hosted by Bangkok Recycling Chain. The two-day event is at once a swap party and the soft launch of Bangkok Recycling Chain's creative space, where it plans to hold workshops, events, and meals soon. Attendees may bring as many or as few items they want to swap, including clothes, books, small plants, home decorations, and more. Items that are torn, stained, and unusable are not allowed. 10. Loy Krathong Celebration at Celadon
The Sukhothai Bangkok will also throw its own celebration of Loy Krathong this coming Monday.
