MSI Unveils World's First Intel-Powered Handheld Gaming PC, MSI Claw
Micro-Star International (MSI) is taking gaming to the next level as the premium laptop brand has launched the world’s first handheld gaming PC powered by Intel.
Called the MSI Claw, the new device was unveiled at the recently held CES 2024 in Las Vegas. It is set to compete with other top-notch handheld gaming devices on the market, including Steam Deck, ASUS’ ROG Ally, and Lenovo’s Legion Go.
The seven-inch handheld gaming device is powered by Intel Core Ultra Processor, boasting a total of eight Xe cores for optimum performance. For smooth graphics, the Claw is also equipped with Intel Arc Graphics and Intel XeSS technology, which increases frames-per-second (FPS) for demanding AAA games.
The device also features a massive 53-watt-hour battery for longer gaming hours. The MSI Claw also has a HyperFlow cooling system, featuring heat pipes and dual fans, which prevents the device from overheating.
Another interesting feature of the Claw is its ergonomic design, which allows the device to fit in various hand sizes. It also offers great expandability, as it is equipped with a Thunderbolt port, a microSD reader, and an App Player for a wider game library.
The MSI Claw is slated for release in the first half of 2024. To know more about the device, visit MSI’s website.
