ZALORA to Make Shopping More Seamless via AI Tech TITAN

Online fashion destination ZALORA has boarded the AI train, as it announced the launch of its new artificial intelligence-powered e-commerce platform, TITAN.

According to ZALORA, the new platform will integrate OpenAI to improve its customers’ shopping experience and represent the brand’s commitment to becoming a leader in fashion e-commerce. TITAN is also a part of the brand’s roster of new technologies to be rolled out this year.

One of the first few functions that TITAN will highlight is "smart search discovery," which promises to help customers find the items they want to purchase faster and easily. There will also be a conversational shopping assistant, which will enable shoppers to browse items with smart prompts.

Of course, there will be Internal Chatbots, which will allow users to access TITAN’s conversational UI. Lastly, a production automation feature will be released to enable automation across all of the brand’s functions and increase their employees’ productivity.

“With a history of innovations under our belt, we are excited to embrace the future with Generative AI and leverage it to deliver the best ‘tailored for fashion’ e-commerce experience for our customers both during and post-purchase,” said Gunjan Soni, chief executive officer of ZALORA.

The initiative marks ZALORA’s parent company, Global Fashion Group’s, further expansion in Southeast Asia. The company also plans to bring the technology to other regions, including Latin America and Australia.
