Read and Sip at These Cafes Around Singapore With a Special Pop-up Library
Coffee date? Yes, please! But what if we read books while sipping our favourite iced coffee too? Now that sounds like a perfect date.
For its "Get Booked" event campaign, For You Page, a platform dedicated to promoting Sing Lit, has initiated the setup of pop-up libraries at various cafes across the city to encourage more people to read.
Visit The Social Space at Kreta Ayer on March 15-29, Crème by LELE Bakery at Hougang on Feb. 13-27, and Brawn & Brains Coffee at Hamilton until tomorrow, Feb. 9, and choose from the wide variety of English books, including nonfiction, fiction, novels, comics, poetry, and plays, that you can read.
On top of the available books that are free for reading, the participating cafes are also hosting giveaways to attract more customers to visit and check out the pop-up library.
Aside from the “Get Booked” event, For You Page will also be launching more events in the future to promote books and reading across Singapore for the younger generation.
