1. Hidden Gems Sake Pairing With Joshua Kalinan 

Join Master Sake Sommelier Joshua Kalinan for two days in a sake pairing and uncover the wonders of this Japanese rice wine in tandem with a sumptuous seven-course omakase. The Wednesday pairing will include a Kansai omakase, whereas Thursday will feature a Miyazaki A5 Wagyu omakase. Bookings of six people and up will also get a free bottle of sake worth S$128. 3. Boutique Fairs: The Gifting Edition 2023

4. 'Tropical: Stories from Southeast Asia and Latin America' Exhibit

Learn about the narratives of artists, dreamers, and writers at "Tropical: Stories from Southeast Asia and Latin America," which is part of the National Gallery's Stories Artists Tell Us initiative. This opening weekend will feature architect and graphic designer Boedi Widjaja, independent Mexican fashion curator Circe Henestrosa, and Berlin-based duo Zinny-Maidagan (Dolores Zinny and Juan Maidagan). The exhibit will include more than 200 works and is considered "the world's first large-scale exhibition to make a comparative approach between artistic expressions from Southeast Asia and Latin America." 5. Sengkang Central Eco Carnival 2023

7. 'The Old Oak' Screening

Film buffs, here's an event for you! Catch the screening of director Ken Loach's "The Old Oak," which centres on a pub landlord and the tensions caused by the arrival of Syrian refugees. 8. Write-in With Natalie Wang
