Bestys, get ready to witness behind-the-scenes footage and more from BE:FIRST because the Japanese boy group’s first documentary film might be coming to a cinema near you!

Titled “BE:the ONE,” the documentary will be released in Japan, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, and Taiwan starting Aug. 25. The film will show clips from the group’s performances from their first Japan tour, "BE:FIRST 1st One Man Tour 'BE:1' 2022-2023."

Fans in the said locations will also witness the members’ journey in the audition program “The First,” where they were formed, as well as individual interviews. An exclusive acoustic performance of their song “Message,” which was filmed in Korea, will also be shown in the movie.

According to the film’s distributor, Megaton Entertainment, the movie is “one step towards introducing BE:FIRST to the world.”

Be:FIRST is a seven-member J-Pop boy group, that made their debut in 2021 with the single album “Gifted.” Their pre-debut track, “Shining One,” topped music charts in Japan, including the Japan Hot 100 and Oricon, only a few days after its release.

Hong Kong screenings will be held at CGV D2 Place, Broadway, Golden Harvest, and MCL cinemas. While you wait for ticketing details and venues for your country, you can watch the trailer here.
