Anju Korean Rooftop Bar Is Cooking Something Fresh With a New Sous Chef

Ready your tastebuds for a one-of-a-kind Korean cuisine fare at Anju Korean Rooftop Bar, as they welcome their newest Executive Chef, YoungDae Shim. He’s bringing his expertise on the culture of South Korea right to the middle of Bangkok.

Hailing all the way from South Korea, Chef YoungDae’s experience and understanding of Korean cuisine, as well as his experience in visiting different countries, have led him now to Anju to showcase his own cooking techniques while still injecting traditional Korean flavours.

As part of his arrival at the bar, diners are also up for a new menu, a modern interpretation of the chef’s childhood Korean dishes, which includes Pickled Salmon & Prawn, Busan-style Fishcake and Beef Tendon Soup, Egg Lava with Caviar Trio, Bone-in Short Rib, and traditional Korean drinks turned into a sweet treat such as Jooak & Makgeolli Ice Cream and Fruit Bibimbap Bingsoo.
