Their journey commenced with Tin Box Retroholics, a haven for vinyl enthusiasts that seek to revive the electrifying spirit of the 80s club scene. The inviting wooden tables, plush dark green velvety sofas, and elegant chic stools come together to foster a laid-back, homey atmosphere.
Guests can enjoy nightly hip-hop and R&B sets courtesy of both local and international guest DJs.They play curated sets from pure vinyl records, as well as digitally coded vinyl known as Serato vinyl, since much of the music they showcase is not available on physical vinyl records. Meanwhile, you can sip on signature cocktails while soaking up the soulful atmosphere. What Food and Drinks Did We Get
For drinks, we tried three items on their cocktail menu. We sampled the 12” Watermelon, Rhythm & Blues, and Gin Ho Lim. Each was priced at THB300.

12” Watermelon: Turning the perfect summer drink into a refreshing cocktail, 12” Watermelon is like an appetizer for the thirsty soul. Infused with rum, watermelon juice, lime juice, and soda, along with mint leaves, it delivers a light and herbaceous flavor. Each sip bursts with the luscious sweetness of watermelon, harmoniously intertwined with a refreshing herbal note that shouts summer vibes. This revitalizing drink is a playful twist on classic watermelon mojitos, making it the perfect choice for those who crave a refreshing cocktail without overwhelming intensity.

Rhythm & Blues: If you cherish your tea, think your afternoon tea ritual just got a boozy, whimsical upgrade with Rhythm & Blues. This exquisite cocktail features early grey-infused gin, swirled together with decadent raspberry sauce and a splash of zesty lemon juice, delivering a pleasant bergamot flavor — an elegant citrus note that hits the spot. To top it off, a frothy cloud of egg white adds a silky finish that feels like a hug in a glass. The botanicals in the gin flirt and dance with the delicate flavors of Earl Grey tea, making this drink as delicious as it is visually appealing.

Gin Ho Lim: A smooth, lightly fizzy cocktail that awakens your senses and feels refreshing, like a gentle breeze. The Gin Ho Lim is a captivating fusion of genmaicha-infused gin, luscious passionfruit syrup, zesty lemon juice, aromatic rosemary, and refreshing tonic water. The nutty, toasty notes of the gin harmonize beautifully with the delicate floral sweetness of the passionfruit syrup. The splash of lemon juice adds the perfect tangy sourness. So, if you’re all about that perfect balance of sour meets sweet, this cocktail is a quintessential choice.
What We Liked
Simply Analog gives that TGIF kinda feeling, offering a chilled and inviting ambiance that is perfectly balanced — never too loud or overwhelming. Here, you can watch the bartenders as they work their magic, conjuring up tasty concoctions while you sip and soak in the eclectic tunes.
This bar charmingly evokes the nostalgia of vinyl, all within a stylish, contemporary space. The cocktails are refreshingly uncomplicated, showcasing ingredients that amplify their quirky flavors. The 12” Watermelon stands out as a go-to drink, ideal for helping you settle in, relax, and unleash engaging conversations. If you’re in the mood for a fun twist, Rhythm & Blues packs a zesty punch with its whimsical fusion of botanical and juniper notes.
What We Didn’t Like
One notable drawback is the absence of food options; this means you’ll either need to dine beforehand or plan to enjoy a few drinks before heading out for dinner. A thoughtfully curated snack menu would greatly enhance the experience, as many patrons relish the combination of drinks and light bites. The interplay of flavors and textures can elevate the enjoyment of the evening — not everyone is a fan of Japanese crackers.
While I understand that the bar is still in its early days, introducing a wider array of cocktail selections would be a satisfying addition.
What You Should Order

More of a fruity cocktail person? Definitely get the 12” Watermelon because it's a tropical delight that’s refreshing, light, and irresistibly easy to sip.
For those who prefer spirit-forward drinks with a robust experience, the Singapore Sling is your companion. It’s a delightful mix of gin, dom, cherry liqueur, pineapple juice, grenadine syrup, and soda that gives the extra oomph. Sweet, fruity, and just a tad cheeky.
Also, nothing beats the classic taste of cucumber paired with the earthy allure of mezcal — it’s naturally cooling and refreshing. El Pepino has a subtly sweet, vegetal note that dances on your palate, followed by a clean, grassy aroma. Crafted with mezcal, fresh cucumber juice, lime juice, and a touch of sugar syrup, each sip is reminiscent of a cucumber margarita — sweet and slightly tangy — minus the salty rim, of course.
And if you’re a whiskey aficionado and you enjoy something with depth and profound character, the Trap is sure to impress. This cocktail is a rich, velvety concoction made with bourbon, zesty lemon juice, brown sugar syrup, Angostura bitters, and egg white.
