"Mali Bucha: Dance Offering," a hybrid performance by Thai choreographer Kornkarn Rungsawang, premieres in Bangkok on Aug. 15 and 16 at Sodsai Pantoomkomol Centre for Dramatic Arts. Combining dance, augmented reality (AR), and virtual reality (VR), this immersive piece explores how digital tools can reinterpret the Thai rum-kea-bon ritual, where dance becomes an offering to sacred beings.
