1. K Village – Songkran Splash
Who says little tots can’t join the Songkran celebration? Get ready to make some waves!
K Village will be hosting Songkran Splash, where children can enjoy a giant inflatable maze and slides, as well as a mini market. There will also be water gun filling stations at the venue for kids to experience water gun fights for fun. What’s more, children who don the best Thai or Hawaiian costumes can receive free vouchers worth THB150.

2. Songkran Specials 2023 at DIORA
Apart from partying ‘til dawn, Songkran Festival is also a time to let loose and have fun. So, what’s a better way to enjoy it? A massage!

3. Neon Foam Party
Another kid-friendly Songkran Festival-themed event is the Neon Foam Party, which will be hosted by Woodnote Coplaying Space this week.
There will be water games for the whole family, foam games for kids, live music, and DJ performances at the party. Other activities that you should not miss are mud slides, rock climbing, face painting, and more. There will also be a BBQ Camp, inclusive of two rounds of meals for six people available for reservation. Families can enjoy the activities without any time limits.

4. Playmondo – Songkran Festival
This week, the local recreation centre Playmondo will also be offering special activities in celebration of the Songkran Festival.
Kids can dress up as Bozo the Clown and enjoy a cotton candy party. Moreover, a garland-making workshop will be held at all Playmondo branches (CentralWorld, Central EastVille, Central Ladprao, and Central Rama 2).
All activities are aligned with Playmondo’s mission to create an avenue for kids to learn through play, imagination, and exploration in a safe and fun environment.

5. ‘Kusama: Infinity’ by RCB Film Club
The River City Bangkok Film Club presents “Kusama: Infinity,” which tells the life and work of Japanese contemporary artist Yayoi Kusama, aka the “princess of polka dots.” The film will feature Kusama’s humble beginnings and journey to becoming an internationally renowned artist.
At present, Kusama is 94 years old and voluntarily lives in a Tokyo-based psychiatric facility, where she continues to work on her paintings.

6. ‘She’s Too Much’ Solo Exhibition
This is a solo exhibition of Thai artist Juli, also known as juli baker and summer. In a series of 29 paintings, Juli depicts the emotions she experienced during her 28-day menstrual cycle.
Her works of art showcase vibrant colours and abstract brushstrokes that convey various emotions. She usually takes inspiration from people, music, literature, films, travels, and even ordinary conversations.

7. Regent’s IGCSE Science and Math Catch-Up Camp
Is your child a science or math wizard? Regent’s gotchu!
The international school will hold a five-day catch-up camp through quizzes relating to biology, chemistry, mathematics, and physics. This event will be spearheaded by Google Certified Educator and Regent’s IBDP chemistry teacher Richard James Rogers and will utilise state-of-the-art educational technology.

8. ZeeNuNew 1st Photobook
Thai actors Zee and Nunew, known for their roles in the BL series “Cutie Pie,” have released their first photobook. It went on sale last April 9 and will be available until next week.
The photobook comes with a cover box, 120-page Day 1 and Day 2 photobooks, A3 posters, a Thank You postcard, an A4 sticker, and a keychain. Fans may also purchase the items separately, but they are limited to three items per product. Shipping is scheduled to begin on April 26.

9. Leaf Printing Workshop
Little Stump is known for their playground workshop and activities that stimulate kids’ imaginations. In honour of Earth Month, their goal is to “keep the Earth happy.” This April, they have organised several craft activities that promote environmental awareness.
This week includes a leaf printing workshop where real leaves will be used to make beautiful prints, mixing the natural beauty of nature with the artistic skills of children.

10. ‘Avengers’ Holiday Camp
Regarded as Bangkok’s longest running, English speaking drama and magic school, Curtain Up Drama and Magic is currently having a five-week holiday programme. This is done to cover school holidays in Thailand. Each programme, including the “Avengers,” will culminate in a surprise performance that may include singing, dancing, acting, scenery and prop making, as well as a surprise final performance.
