Bandai’s iconic handheld digital pet toy, Tamagotchi, is turning 30! For this special milestone, the toy company has partnered with Uniqlo UT for a limited edition collaboration featuring a collection of T-shirts and a special edition themed shell.

This upcoming UT collection draws inspiration from the pixel art of the Original Tamagotchi, capturing the nostalgic charm of the living Tamagotchi in its simple yet expressive digital world. The official site just revealed the product lineup, which includes four graphic t-shirt designs and the UT Original Tamagotchi. The collection is said to go on sale mid-December this year, but other stores in the region may have varying launch dates and availability.

The shirts come in a relaxed fit designed for women, available in white, black, and lavender. Each shirt is priced at JPY1,990 and features adorable Tamagotchi graphics that capture the charm of the beloved virtual pet. One standout design shows the classic blue Tamagotchi with the cheeky line, “Needs constant care and attention.” Sizes range from XS to 3XL, so there’s a fit for everyone.

Imagine when your fragrance purchase can contribute to life-changing initiatives! And, from Oct. 10 to 12, 2025, it is truly happening. In honor of World Mental Health Day, Sephora and Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez are joining forces for the third year of their global “Make A Rare Impact” campaign, blending beauty with advocacy in 25 countries, including those in the Asia-Pacific region, like Australia, Hong Kong, India, Singapore, and Thailand.

For three days only, Sephora will donate 100% of sales from Rare Beauty’s new fine fragrance to the Rare Impact Fund, a nonprofit initiative founded by Gomez in 2020 to expand access to youth mental health services. The campaign spans both in-store and online purchases, including Sephora at Kohl’s in the U.S., with donation caps varying by region: up to US$500,000 in the U.S., INR810,000 in India, and US$6,800 in Thailand.

Since day 1, the Rare Impact Fund has already raised US$20 million, supporting 30 organizations across five continents and reaching over 1 million young people annually. “This campaign is a clear example of what's possible when brands, nonprofits, and communities come together — not just to raise awareness, but to expand access and build lasting support for youth mental health," said Elyse Cohen, Rare Beauty’s Chief Impact Officer and President of the Rare Impact Fund.

August may have slipped away, but it left us with one unforgettable highlight — music icon Taylor Swift got engaged! A beacon of hope for all the Lover lovers out there, her news reminded us that true love really does wait for the right time.

With headlines buzzing, we couldn’t help but imagine her wedding. Will she say “I do” under fairy lights at her farmhouse, or walk down a flower-filled aisle straight out of a secret garden? Wherever it is, it’s bound to be enchanting.

While scoring an invite to music’s royal wedding might be a long shot (we’ll be there in spirit!), we’ve put together a style guide to help you choose the perfect guest dress for every kind of venue. With wedding season still in full swing, here’s what to wear, whether you’re celebrating on the beach, in a garden, or in a grand ballroom.

Church Wedding

We’re starting off with one of the most popular venues for a wedding, which is at a church. Whether it’s a grand cathedral or a humble town chapel, guests' attire for this venue should be formal and respectful.

Think knee-length or midi dresses with sleeves. If you’ll be opting for a sleeveless gown, it’s best to bring a shawl or a bolero (short open jacket). It’s also important to avoid dresses with plunging necklines or designs that reveal too much skin.

Hotel Ballroom Wedding

This reminds us of that music video where Taylor is haunting a wedding, dressed in red. Hotel venues call for a more glamorous vibe, so floor-length gowns in jewel tones, velvet, or metallics are a good way to go. You can elevate your look with strappy heels, a clutch bag, and some statement earrings.

Farm or Barn Wedding

Taylor Swift was raised on a farm, so it wouldn’t be a surprise if she took her wedding back to her own backyard.

Farm weddings have grown more popular in recent years, with couples choosing a unique rustic charm and picturesque venue for their ceremonies — the same goes for Private Villas.

Naturally, the ideal dresses for this occasion give off a laid-back yet elegant vibe, which is best delivered by a flowy midi or maxi dress in soft florals, earthy tones, or pastels. Beach weddings call for a more relaxed and breezy elegance, so go for flowing dresses in pastels or even bold tropical prints. This is also the perfect occasion for strappy flats, straw clutches, and shell-inspired accessories.

Castle or Heritage Site Wedding

Someone like Taylor Swift, who has broken record after record, deserves a wedding fit for a princess. How iconic would it be if she recreated her “Love Story” music video and got married in a castle?

Weddings on heritage sites are fairytale-like and dramatic, so one can go for floor-length gowns with regal details. Textures you can go for include velvet, embroidered, sequined, and even lace.

Japanese brand Maison Cielune has this elegant fishtail dress with a cinched string waist reminiscent of Victorian corsets. It’s simple but very on theme with a castle venue and has a lovely lavender color.

Garden Wedding

Travis Kelce choosing to propose in his own backyard filled with the prettiest blooms wasn’t only peak romantic, but may also be hinting at Taylor being a flower lover. So, a garden wedding might just be the perfect fit for the couple.

For guest dresses, find pieces that give off a fresh and whimsical vibe. You can wear mid and maxi dresses with light floral designs, pastel colors, and ribbon accents. We advise pairing them with block heels or wedges, as this will provide more stability on grass, and to wear your hair in soft curls or a laid-back up-do.

When it comes to color, darker hues are usually preferred, as many rooftop weddings opt for sunset schedules for the views, with the reception proceeding in the evening.

First and foremost, avoid wearing a white dress unless the couple requested guests to wear white as a theme choice.

Be sure to check the wedding invitation for any color specifications and avoid matching the colors worn by the bridal party. If you’re unable to find the dress code, you can determine your outfit based on the theme of the invite, the venue, the season, and even their religion.

Another general rule is not to wear dresses that are too revealing or flashy, or to opt for casual pieces like denim and slippers.

Fashion has always been in a state of constant evolution. One thing that remains the same, however, is its refusal to stay stagnant. Particularly in this era, we’ve seen the resurgence of past trends and the rise of new ones. One such trend is the ballet sneakers (also known as the sneakerina). And whether you’re a fan or not, the unexpected fusion of the comfort of sneakers with the delicate elegance of ballet flats is taking over the fashion scene.

It is no secret that fashion loves to combine two different silhouettes into one hybrid ensemble, but the modernization of ballet flats might not have been on everyone’s 2025 bingo cards. Yet, it’s here, and many celebrities are hopping on the trend, including Bad Bunny, Jennifer Lawrence, Bella Hadid, Charli XCX, Dua Lipa, and — perhaps more fittingly — Ballerina actress Ana de Armas. And it’s not that difficult to understand why: the hybrid shoe perfectly combines comfort and style.

The balletcore moment has continued to evolve from the traditional ballet shoe to a more utilitarian style. With the emergence of this trend, we’ve compiled a list of brands where you can snag your own ballet-inspired sneakers, à la Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake, but with a contemporary twist.

Nike

Nike is the latest brand to join the ballerina sneaker trend, putting its own spin on the movement through a high-fashion collaboration with French designer Simon Porte Jacquemus. Together, they've reimagined Bill Bowerman's legendary 1972 Moon Shoe, the racing sneakers that first debuted with Nike's now-iconic waffle sole. This reinterpretation, however, merges the shoe's performance DNA with balletcore aesthetic, creating a low-to-the-ground silhouette that feels avant-garde and chic.

The Nike x Jacquemus Moon Shoe debuted on the Paris runway earlier this year and comes in three colors: University Red, Off Noir, and an exclusive Jacquemus Alabaster colorway. Details like a ruched nylon upper, leather Swoosh, and co-branded packaging nod to both Nike's sporting heritage and Jacquemus' minimalist, French flair — resulting in a sneaker that feels timeless yet unapologetically modern.

The collection officially drops on Sept. 29, 2025 on Jacquemus' website.

PUMA

PUMA has long been a major player in the athletic footwear industry, earning its reputation through collaborations with top athletes. However, the brand is also known for offering fashion-forward pieces. With sneakerina gaining traction in the footwear scene, PUMA has introduced its own take on the trend: the PUMA Speedcat Ballerina.

The Puma Speedcat line was originally designed for motorsports, specifically Formula 1. Over the years, though, it has become a staple streetwear favorite. Just as we thought it couldn’t get any more stylish, the German brand has delivered its take on Balletcore with its Speedcat Ballerina line, which combines the sporty sensibilities of its Speedcat line with the classic Mary Jane design. The result is a cool, sporty look paired with the sophisticated charm of ballet flats.

Style options include suede, metallic, and leather. Color variations depend on the store, but the Speedcat Ballerina is typically available in black, white, silver, and pink. You can purchase it through PUMA’s official website.

Onitsuka Tiger

Japanese footwear brand Onitsuka Tiger is best known for its Mexico 66 model — a classic, retro-style sneaker, recognized for its signature stripes. However, the iconic brand has recently given its classic line an update, this time putting a feminine spin on it with the Mexico 66 Ballerina shoes. Created in collaboration with French fashion house Patou for Onitsuka Tiger’s 75th anniversary, this special edition maintains the sneaker’s signature stripes while incorporating the gracefulness of ballet flats.

Meanwhile, the Mexico 66 TGRS — short for "Tigress" — is adorned with floral-patterned stripes, combining both girly and fun, all while staying true to its ever-popular design. Mexico 66 Ballerina is available in two colorways (black/white and white/cotton candy), while Mexico 66 TGRS comes in five variations: black/black, black/cream, crystal pink/graphite grey, ivory/cream, and silver/cream. Louis Vuitton

Of course, Louis Vuitton is never one to miss out on a trend. Part of the reason why the brand is a powerhouse in the fashion world is its ability to evolve while maintaining its luxurious identity. And with sneakerinas rising in popularity, the luxury brand has also hopped on the trend. Perhaps one of the most expensive options in this list, Louis Vuitton’s very own ballet sneakers line — called the LV Sneakerina — more than justifies its price point. It is created with supple leather, complete with the iconic LV initials and its famous monogram, extending from the sides all the way to the soles.

Available in various distinct versions, the LV Sneakerina boasts a diverse range of materials and vibrant color choices, including Lilac, Pistachio, Fuchsia, Green, and more. You may grab a pair through Louis Vuitton's website.

Vivaia

Vivaia, a brand renowned for its commitment to sustainability and comfort, offers a diverse range of footwear options, including heels, sandals, loafers, boots, and mules. However, the brand has gained particular attention for its take on Sneakerina, complete with a satin finish and a ribbon tie lace.

Called Cristina, the ribbon tie lace gives the Sneakerina an elegant, feminine touch, elevating the traditional sneaker design to something more refined and fashionable, like a true-blue ballerina. Cristina is available in grey silver, burgundy, light gold, black, peach blush, butter yellow, and dream blue. The brand also offers cream mesh and toast tan mesh square-toe sneakerina. Adidas

There have been plenty of models that Adidas has perfectly tailored to the market. Some of the brand’s most popular ones include Samba, Gazelle, Stan Smith, Superstar, and more. Recently, Adidas has stepped into the balletcore trend with its Samba Jane and Taekwondo Mei Ballet offerings. Adidas’ take on the trend fuses minimalism, elegance, and comfort.

The Taekwondo Mei, in particular, comes in six different colors, while the Samba Jane (the brand’s nod to both its classic Samba model and the iconic Mary Jane shoe) also comes in six colors. Both are available for purchase via Adidas’ official website.

On TikTok, the Tabby Shoulder Bag alone has become a viral sensation, racking up over 30 million views and turning it into the ultimate “It-girl” accessory.
