7 Trending Halloween Costumes for Your Next Spooky Look

Halloween is here! While parties in your area may be just a few days away, there’s still plenty of time to pull together your perfect Halloween look.
Move over, Dracula and skeletons, this year’s costumes are trading jump scares for style. Who says spooky season has to be all about blood and gore, anyway? From pop stars and POP MART toys to beloved film and TV series characters, Halloween 2025 is all about having fun with fashion and creativity. Whether you’re going for funny, chic, or downright fabulous, here are some trending Halloween costume ideas that are as timely as they are cool.
K-Pop Demon Hunters
We’ve been hearing “Golden” nonstop on the radio, online, and even at the local grocery stores, and trust us, every Halloween party this year wouldn’t be complete without a Rumi, Mira, Zoe, or even a Saja Boy in the crowd. “K-Pop Demon Hunters” is debatably the most popular film of the year, and there’s no doubt that kids and adults alike will want to dress up as their favorite characters from the movie.
You can find wigs at your local cosplay stores and put together outfits based on your preferred costume. To recreate the Huntrix’s “Golden” performance look, simply take a white crop top tank, white shorts, and finish it off with a sequined black jacket. You can accessorize with golden jewelry and chain belts or even bedazzle your jackets with gold accents.
For kids, some shops have already rolled out ready-made costumes. Little Vela PH has Rumi’s “Golden” costume on hand here.
Netflix also has some exclusive costume merchandise, like the yellow jacket Rumi wore during “How It’s Done.” Pair it with a white crop tank, denim shorts, and black knee-high boots, and you’re ready to slay some demons!

Labubu
Whether you’re a fan or not, 2025 is the year of the Labubu doll. The little monster created by Hong Kong artist Kasing Lung has become the face of the POP MART brand, with its sold-out fuzzy bag charms that have made their way to almost everyone’s purses, from famous models to K-Pop idols.
And yes, you can totally dress up as your favorite Labubu for Halloween. The easiest way to transform yourself into a cute monster is to get some face paint, a pair of headband ears, and the fuzziest onesies, fleece jumpsuit, pajama, or sweater sets you can find. Uniqlo has a fleece jacket that’s perfect for the occasion!

KATSEYE
The girl group of the moment, KATSEYE has definitely caught our attention with their catchy music, incredible choreography, charisma, and, of course, stunning fashion looks!
We could probably create a lookbook of their most iconic looks through their eras, which can all be recreated with the right pieces. Want to make a bold statement? Try on a sexy red dress inspired by “Gabriela” or go for a grungy, club-inspired Y2K fashion look for your Halloween bash, like in their “Gnarly” music video. If you want something a little more simple but chic, take over the streets in a stylish all-denim ensemble inspired by their GAP commercial.

“Wicked” Witches
Witches will never go out of style for Halloween. Throw on a black dress and a pointy hat, and you’re done! But do we really want to stop there?
Witches have evolved through the years from various characters introduced in film, books, and television. This year, it’s all about “Wicked” with the musical’s movie adaptation coming out in November. Elevate your witchy looks by dressing up as in pink and sparkles like Glinda the Good, or go all black (or green) as Elphaba Thropp!
This black, high-neckline crinkle maxi dress from ASOS can be the perfect dress to cast a spell or two in. Pair it with a pointy hat and a broom, and you’re off to see the wizard!

Mia Hernandez from “It’s Okay Not to Be Okay”
The K-Drama “It’s Okay Not to Be Okay” captured hearts everywhere with its powerful storytelling, stunning cinematography, and unforgettable fashion — especially the bold looks of antisocial children’s book author Ko Mun-Young, played by Seo Yea-Ji.
So when the Philippine adaptation was announced, it was no surprise that excitement followed, especially with beloved actress Anne Curtis stepping into the iconic role. In this localized version, Anne wore a series of gorgeous outfits that paid homage to the original while adding a distinctly Filipino flair.
We particularly loved her modern Filipiniana-inspired ensembles, like the Barong dress and the Filipiniana butterfly-sleeved top paired with a white tulle skirt. If you’re looking to channel your inner “wicked” Mia Hernandez, think Filipiniana with an edge. This modern Filipiniana dress from Camisa Filipina is the perfect piece to enter your kontrabida (antagonist) era in style.

Sabrina Carpenter
Sabrina Carpenter is no doubt the pop star of the season. After her viral hit “Espresso,” the singer went on to release several more hit singles and a full-length album that won Best Pop Vocal Album at the 2025 Grammy Awards.
Sabrina’s aesthetic is feminine and whimsical with a lot of pastel colors and soft details like lace, flowers, and heart patterns. Her most iconic looks are her stage outfits, where she’s often seen in figure-hugging corset dresses and platform wedges that give off a playful, sweet, and sexy vibe.
This ivory bubble hem midaxi dress from Oh Polly perfectly captures Sabrina Carpenter’s signature style with its short n’ sweet length, corset bodice, and V-shaped back adorned with delicate bow accents. It’s a near match to the dress she wore for Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve last year! Pair it with lace gloves, shimmering tights, and platform heels, and you’ll be ready to serve pop-star energy all night long.

Wednesday
Wednesday Addams made her long-awaited return this year with the release of Netflix’s second season. With our favorite goth girl back at Nevermore for another semester of dark humor and even darker secrets, her signature look is set to make a comeback this Halloween, too.
Wednesday embodies a blend of vintage and modern goth styles. To recreate her look, choose monochromatic palettes with bold patterns like pinstripes and polka dots. One of her standout looks was the black patterned dress with a sharp white collar — classic schoolgirl with a gothic twist. This big-collared mini dress from SNIDEL channels the same vibe, almost identical to the one from the show — perfect for your Halloween look.
