Dior Names Hong Kong as Men's Pre-Fall 2024 Runway Location

Following its breathtaking Men’s Fall 2023 show in front of the pyramids of Giza in Dec. 2022, Dior is preparing to bring the next Dior Men Pre-Fall show to cosmopolitan Hong Kong. This comes after Louis Vuitton staging its first show in the city on Nov. 30, bringing over the label’s 2024 Men’s Pre-Fall show overseen by Pharrell Williams.

The fashion show marks Dior's comeback to Hong Kong after hosting a women's haute couture show in 2014 and a men's display in 2016. Dior has maintained a presence in Hong Kong since 1980, with the brand establishing 11 boutiques across the city, six of which carry its Dior Men line. The choice of Hong Kong is seen as a signal of confidence in the city's growth prospects as a historic luxury hub, according to WWD.

The announcement of this show comes shortly after Dior's extravagant event in Hong Kong for the Cruise 2024 collection, attended by megastars and Dior ambassadors amongst the likes of Korean actor Cha Eun Woo, NEWJEANS member Haerin, and Thai duo Mile Pakphum and Apo Nattawin.

While the exact show date and location have yet to be revealed, the move underscores Hong Kong's ambition to reaffirm its position in the fashion world and reinstate itself as an industry hub, especially in the realm of luxury fashion.
