1. Lexemedia x Calmed Presents: GLOW with Inspiring Girls Festival 2023

Held jointly by Lexemedia and Calmed, celebrate all that’s great about girlhood at GLOW FEST and help charity partner Inspiring Girls. This all-rounded event aims to bring people together to connect, learn new skills, and have fun while supporting a great cause.

The festival includes a glow paint party, music by DJ Fergus, a dazzling market of local female-led business vendors, calligraphy, a mind-body movement class with Whale Wellness, a steak masterclass with Bones & Blades, a singing bowl sesh with MettaWellness, art jamming with SoleSoulClub, networking opportunities with Inspiring Girls, a photo booth with Calmed, and a grand raffle. A portion of the proceeds from the event will go to Inspiring Girls Hong Kong, which supports girls aged 12-16.

Don your starchiest white or neon-coloured clothes that glow under the location’s futuristic UV lights and deck yourself out in glow-in-the-dark accessories like bracelets, necklaces, and glow sticks! The event is cashless, and vendors accept Payme and FPS.

2. ‘Record of Cybercity’ Exhibition by PureHay in Wan Chai

Local illustrator PureHay has taken over Hong Kong Imaging gallery with a solo show that beautifully portrays Hong Kong in all its dreamy cyberpunk glory. Themed around a surrealistic depiction of the city, with universally beloved elements from shared cultural nostalgia and vestiges of a forgotten future, the blend of epochs past and eras ahead that manifest in his illustrations are set out to stun.

3. For the Love of Engraving: An Evening with Carlos Koo in Sheung Wan

Renowned master metal carver and engraver Carlos Koo will be showcasing his works of art at Hatton Jewellery Institute’s "For the Love of Engraving" live demo and exhibition. Witness the behind-the-scenes of metal engraving as he shares his passion and secret techniques for creating breathtaking masterpieces.

As the only metal carver for motorcycles in Hong Kong, Carlos will give a glimpse into the intricacies that go into his work. From his signature Harley Motorcycle parts to Zippo lighters and watch engraving, prepare to be in awe.

4. Go Plant Milk: ‘Milked’ Documentary Screening by Planet for All in TST

Got milk? Planet for All, a Hong Kong based non-profit focused on spotlighting sustainability practices, is hosting a screening of the documentary “Milked,” which follows the multi-billion-dollar dairy industry in New Zealand to uncover its sour practices. What’s more, attendees can also swing by a little before the screening begins to get a taste of some snacks that are certified to have been made with plant milk and snag a gift of Minor Figures oat milk while stocks last.

5. Huso x RSRV: Jade Lau Guest Takeover at The Pottinger, Central

Slump day is going to get a sleek refresh with some classy tipples and an uber stylish guest bartender at Huso's latest Wine-down Wednesday. Attending for a one-night-only shift, mixologist Jade Lau is teaming up with the bar for a takeover where she’ll be shaking up three exclusive cocktails inspired by three iconic Netflix series referenced on the menu. Looking to “Stranger Things,” “Narcos,” and “The Queen's Gambit” as origins, the drinks are accompanied by binge-worthy bites especially made to completement the flavours in your palate.

6. New Spring Menu at Terrible Baby in Jordan

Spring has finally hit the Hong Kong air in full swing, and Terrible Baby has caught wind to shake up a new collection of cocktails that are sure to suit the season. Crafted using locally sourced ingredients, with a bright twist on classic recipes, the drinks highlight the best springtime flavours.

Some stars include the Boo Hoo (HK$95), which blends the peppery depths of Scotch whisky with fresh seasonings and berries, and Thyme for Buko (HK$95) for a pack of herbaceous punch with infused gin featuring complexities from sweet vermouth and spicy habanero bitters. Those who like sticking to the classics can enjoy the ground-breaking florals of Love Potion (HK$95) that blend lavender dry gin with strawberry and dragon fruit foam, or the Osmanthus Blossom (HK$95) that captures a fragrant Hong Kong blend evocative of iced tea.

7. Vista Campari Bar Launches in Tsim Sha Tsui

Following the successful launch of Vista, Aqua group’s latest sky bar overlooking the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui, comes a collaborative cocktail menu marrying together the group’s mixing and the spirit of Campari. Debuting a featured series of Italian flavours to match the bold glasshouse-esque décor and red accents, Creative Bar Director Lorenzo Coppola has created the "Eight Shades of Red" cocktail series.

The menu features unique signature options, such as Peking (One) Duck spun from duck fat and tamarind-washed mezcal, Beet Me Softly with raspberry and beetroot shrub, and the zero-waste 0 Watermelon Martini. The bar also offers a "Negroni and Friends" selection featuring classic and unique variations of the world-famous cocktail. Spicy Beach adds tabasco and peach, while the decadent Truffle Mezcal Negroni substitutes gin for Montelobos Espadin mezcal.

8. Tarte Pop-up at Landmark

Founded by celebrity chef Rania Hatoum, Tarte is a gourmet business that has brought haute cuisine tarts online. Bringing their decadent pastries to Landmark, the brand is staking a pop-up to share new mini-sized versions of Rania’s signature tarts as well as exclusively curated gift boxes.

As well as offering keto and gluten-free options, the original Signature Caviar Tart is the crowning jewel of Tarte that all visitors must try. Umami laden versions like the Black Truffle Mushroom Tart or the Matsuba Crab & Sea Urchin Seaweed Tart are also as enticing on the tongue as they are for the eyes. Dessert lovers can dive straight into the Signature French Chocolate Ganache Tart or the limited-edition Fruit Tarts that make for a springtime treat that’s just divine.

9. ‘Find Your Shangri-La’ Dinner with Michelin 3-Starred Guest Chef Emmanuel Renaut

Indulge in a fine gastronomic journey with triple Michelin-starred Chef Emmanuel Renaut this week at Restaurant Petrus in Island Shangri-La. Hailing from Megève, France, Chef Renaut is renowned for his warm hospitality and inventive style, elevating his hometown’s mountainous ingredients.

10. Rêveri x RH Fine Dining Four Hands Dinner in Sheung Wan

Joining hands for a collaboration of exquisite culinary artistry, Chef Rania Hatoum makes another appearance on the list as part of an exclusive dinner with Rêveri. Debuting as the fine-dining restaurant’s first-ever four-hands collab, the evening blends together Asian and European delicacies into intricately plated gourmet dishes.

With premium ingredients at the forefront, indulge in items like Uni Brioche that blends the delicate Japanese uni’s sweet-savoury taste with an edge from aged cheddar cheese, Chef Rania’s Tarte with foie gras mousse and Ossetra caviar, Australian Wagyu, and Amadai Fish as fresh catches that shine through in their natural deliciousness.
