Junior Kuppanna Opens Flagship Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur
Some things are worth the wait, and if it means getting to experience authentic South Indian Kongu cuisine without flying out, then it’s well worth it. Fans of Junior Kuppanna Restaurant, a famous restaurant in South India known for its Kongu cuisine, don’t need to travel far just to be able to savor its mouthwatering dishes, as its flagship store in Malaysia is now open to serve guests at Leboh Ampang in Kuala Lumpur.
Since officially opening its doors on June 24, the restaurant has seen heavy foot traffic, with old and new visitors coming to sample the hot, crispy, and tender dishes included in the menu. In an interview, R. Denes Kumar, one of Junior Kuppanna Malaysia’s major franchisees, said they have been working since 2014 to bring the restaurant to Malaysia’s shores. Now that it’s finally here, Malaysians can treat themselves to Kongu cuisine, which highlights the use of coconuts and masalas in the cooking process.
The Junior Kuppanna menu in Malaysia offers 20 signature Kongu dishes, with selections that will delight those who prefer biryani and spicy non-vegetarian dishes. Guests are assured that each dish is prepared meticulously, with quality and authenticity in mind, as they have well-trained chefs onboard.
