AKB48’s Malaysia Sister Company, KLP48, Is Now Accepting Application Forms

If you’ve always dreamed of becoming a member of a famous girl group, this is your chance! Following the recent launch of AKB48’s sister group in Malaysia, KLP48, the company has finally opened the auditions for its first generation group to debut in August.
The audition is open to females aged between 13 and 23 of any nationality as long as they are willing to move to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, or anywhere around the world. Having multifaceted skill sets, including strong vocal and dance experiences are required.
Applicants must be comfortable with appearing online, TV programmes, or having their portrait or video used during the audition process and are in no way connected to other production companies at the time of the audition.
AKB48 is an iconic girl group from Japan, conceptualised by music producer Yasushi Akimoto in 2005. Created with a unique concept that challenged the traditional norms in the idol industry, it quickly gained popularity.
Interested applicants have until March 31 to fill out the application form! Follow KLP48’s Facebook and Instagram pages to stay on top of their updates.
