Theatresauce's 'Saturn Return' Explores What Turning 30 Means for Women

What is in store for a woman who turns 30? "Saturn Return" by director-driven collective Theatresauce attempts to explore this question in this devised performance.

"Saturn Return" features an all-female ensemble who will be examining the meaning of hitting the big 30 in womanhood, spirituality, love, sex, female friendships, and death. It stars Leaism, Lim Sheng Hui, Mia Sabrina Mahadir, Sharanya Radhakrishnan, Sharifah Aleysha, and Tharwa Karina.

As per production notes, a Saturn return pertains to an astrological phenomenon that happens every 29.5 years. In one's life, it happens twice or thrice and is a time of self-reflection. A Saturn return could mean growth, new crises, challenges, and responsibilities.

"Saturn Return" will run from June 14-18 at the Rooftop Theatre of Sunway College. You can get tickets (RM55) on CloudJoi and support the production's crowdfunding campaign here.

Location: Rooftop Theatre, Sunway College, 2, Jalan Universiti, Bandar Sunway, Selangor
