Tropical Hut Introduces Four Special Menu Sets for Lenten Season
Embracing abstinence from meat during the Lenten season doesn’t mean you can’t have delicious meals. You can still eat yummy food without guilt with Tropical Hut's four special menu sets available until March 31.
In a Facebook post, the fast-food restaurant introduced the “Lentreats.”
“As the season of Lent begins, we are encouraged to abstain from meat which was once reserved for celebrations, and to be more mindful of ourselves,” the caption read.
If you love sandwiches, you can opt for their Tuna sandwich. It is included in Lentreats option 1 and comes with a Tuna green salad, regular fries, and a regular drink for only P229. But if you're into greens, you can indulge the Fresh Salad Mix that comes with regular fries and special Halo-Halo for P249.
For a hearty meal, you can grab a rice meal with daing na bangus and egg, a regular drink, and chicken sopas for P229 or fish tempura with rice and green salad, chicken sopas, together with regular fries, and a regular drink for P265. If you’re strictly observing abstinence from meat, you can save these choices on other days but Friday, as chicken is also classified as meat.
