There’s no need for you to drive (and spend gas) or rent a car to go to the Philippine Arena for the opening of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 as tournament organizers have arranged free point-to-point (P2P) shuttle buses, plus other freebies, for ticket holders this Friday, Aug. 25.

“Fans who troop to the opening-day games at the Philippine Arena may opt to avail of free point-to-point (P2P) shuttle buses to get there,” Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas (SBP) said in a post.

According to SBP, organizers will be deploying 400 49-seater premium-grade airconditioned buses from 12 pick-up points: PITX Bus Terminal, Mall of Asia Arena, One Ayala Bus Terminal, BGC Market Market Bus Terminal, SM Megamall, Araneta City, Trinoma, SM North, Clover Leaf Ayala Mall Bus Terminal, SM Baliuag, SM Pampanga, and SM Clark.

Ticket holders may choose their preferred pick-up point and time of departure here. Upon arrival at the venue, they will receive a coupon for a free Jollibee Cheesy Yumburger and merchandise, such as scarves, fan clappers, rally towels, and LED wristbands.

The FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 will kick off with two Group A games: Angola vs. Italy at 4 PM and Gilas Pilipinas (Philippines) vs. Dominican Republic at 8 PM. Opening day tickets, which range from P999 (CAT 5 Gen Ad) to P25,699 (CAT 1 Reserved Seating), are still available here.

To buy tickets for other FIBA matches until Sept. 3, visit TicketNet Online (for Smart Araneta Coliseum and PH Arena) and SM Tickets (for SM Mall of Asia Arena).
