This Singaporean Catering is Going Green With Carbon Neutral Catering
As the world gets warmer and organisations continue to answer the call for sustainability, Shiok Kitchen Catering is working its way to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions.
Following the United Nations’ goal of reaching net zero by 2050, Shiok is introducing a carbon-neutral catering package for its clients called “Sustainable Singapore Delights.”
Priced at S$30+ per pax, the package includes a delightful food spread prepared with locally sourced ingredients, cooked in sustainable palm oil, and served in biodegradable ware.
Serving farm-to-table ingredients, Shiok takes advantage of the reduced travel time, reducing carbon emissions as well as ensuring freshly served food for its customers.
The package will also only serve seafood, chicken, and "meat zero" meat, served in BioPak ware made from sugarcane pulp.
Shiok Kitchen Catering is a brand under Creative Eateries. Known for serving international and local cuisines at off-site and corporate events around Singapore, Shiok provides a unique gastronomical experience to its clients.
