Hosted by the city-state’s magazine for business elites, the Singapore Business Review (SBR) is one of the major business events in Singapore you should not miss.

With nominations ongoing until Feb. 25, 2022, this event aims to recognise the region’s leading companies in technological innovation. A panel of experts will assess the nominees according to their ground-breaking innovation, dynamism, business growth, and impact on the economy. Singapore 2022 Q1 Venture Capital World Summit

Venture Capital World Summit presents the World Series Seasons of Investment Conferences 2022, a major business event in Singapore that invites global investors and shareholders who envision to get

their businesses off the ground and expand internationally in terms of resources, network, and experiences.

Asian Students’ Venture Forum

One of Asia’s major startup competitions for college students, the Asian Students’ Venture Forum (ASVF) is having its 22nd edition via online presentations.

This major business event in Singapore is designed for students who are passionate about entrepreneurship and want to explore more business ideas with other students across Asian nations.

The submission of applications runs until Jan. 17, 2022, while the team idea presentation will start on Jan. 18 until Feb 24.

Each team shall be made up of three to seven students based in an Asian country. School alliances are allowed but a team from multiple countries is prohibited. Applicants must be at least 19 years old.

APEC Business Advisory Council Meeting

The Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) headquartered in Singapore leads regional economic integration and greater prosperity in Asia-Pacific countries.

In February 2022, the first in-person APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC) meeting will be hosted by Singapore. The meeting will highlight the “region's rebooting of regional connectivity and recovery.”

Some of the issues to be discussed in the meeting are reopening of borders, safe and seamless travel, the framework for business facilities and social interaction, and more.

The announcement was made during the fourth ABAC virtual meeting last Nov. 10, 2021 via the Singapore Business Federation.

Travel Tech Asia

As global travel resumes, Travel Tech Asia will have its exhibit from Oct. 19-21, 2022, at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands. The event will focus on the latest and emerging technological trends, travel brands, and startups.
