Following the cancellation of the Good Vibes Festival due to an on-stage kiss by The 1975 frontman Matty Healy, American rock band The Strokes has added a second date to their upcoming Singapore show on Aug. 2.

The new show, to be held on Aug. 3 at the Marina Bay Sands Expo Hall, is an “attempt to accommodate” their fans in Kuala Lumpur, who weren’t able to watch the band due to the cancellation of the festival.

“We know this isn’t perfect for our fans in Malaysia, but it was the closest and most convenient location to put on a show in such a short time,” the band said in a social media post. The quintet likewise expressed their gratitude for the fans who have been waiting for them.

The band will be featuring multidisciplinary artist Promiseland as their supporting act for both dates.

Tickets are now available via Marina Bay Sands’ website and are priced at S$148 for General Standing and S$188 for Priority Standing. A Priority Entry Standing with VIP Upgrade and a General Standing with VIP Upgrade are also available at S$296 and S$256, respectively. Both VIP upgrades include an exclusive VIP poster, an express VIP queue at the bar and concession area, a limited-edition tour laminate, and a dedicated VIP merch counter.

The five-piece band is currently holding stages around Asia and just wrapped up their performance at the Fuji Rock Festival in Japan.
