Get ready to feast your eyes on a magical view of the Northern Lights, as Gardens by the Bay in Singapore is hosting “Borealis,” an immersive light and sound experience next month.

Starting May 4, the exhibition will feature an outdoor art installation, created with layers of light and cloud particles. It will display images of the Northern Lights, also known as the Aurora Borealis, that will illuminate the venue’s popular Supertree Grove.

Elevating the experience is the musical accompaniment from French composer Guillaume Desbois, which will capture the installation’s whimsical atmosphere.

To top it off, visitors can also meet Switzerland-based artist Dan Acher, the installation’s creator, during the special preview on opening day and learn more about his inspirations behind it. Guests can also enjoy free sweet treats, available until stocks last.

The upcoming event marks “Borealis’” first in the Lion City, following shows held previously in Europe, Australia, the United States, and other parts of Asia.

Admission to the event is free, so you can bring all your loved ones with you!

The exhibition will run only on Mondays, Saturdays, and Sundays. To learn more about it, you can visit Gardens by the Bay’s website, or follow its Facebook, Instagram, and X (formerly Twitter) pages.
