Matilda The Musical to Take the Stage in Singapore in March 2024

Heads up, theatre fans! Another international stage production is coming to Singapore, and it’s an iconic one you’ve probably watched or read as a child.

Produced by GWB Entertainment in association with The Royal Shakespeare Company, Matilda The Musical is returning to the Sands Theatre at Marina Bay Sands from March 9-31, 2024.

Presented by Base Entertainment Asia, Matilda The Musical is based on Roald Dahl's “Matilda,” which follows the story of an extraordinary girl with a vivid imagination and sharp mind as she takes a stand to change her destiny.

The musical, which won 101 international awards (including 24 awards for Best Musical), will feature original songs by Tim Minchin and run for approximately 140 minutes with a 20-minute intermission.

Only audiences aged four years old and above are admitted, while children below 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
