1. ARL Jade: Fashion Bazaar 2023

For jewel junkies in Singapore, ready your wallets! This Thursday, ARL Jade will be showcasing their trendy Type A natural jadeite jewelry at the Fashion Bazaar 2023. You can shop for new additions to your collection, such as jadeite bangles, pendants, bracelets, earrings, and rings. For more information, you may reach out to [email protected].

2. Love Oil Carnival

Need to unwind after a stressful week? Love Oil Carnival has got you covered! The carnival will highlight Tuina massage techniques, including kneading, pressing, rolling, shaking, and stretching.

At the event, you can learn new massage techniques, scalp therapy, different types of essential oils, and how to make your own essential oils. It’s a limited event with only 100 attendees, so make sure to secure your game card using this link.

All proceeds from the event will go to the Singapore Children Cancer Foundation through its Giving SG campaign. For more information, check out its Facebook event page.

3. Building from ‘Scrap!’ Workshop

Are you the type who loves making art from scrap? The National Museum’s Public Programme invites everyone interested to build their own hotel or resort using recycled materials.

No special skills are required, as long as participants can create an abstract piece or experiment with art however they want. This event will be held in conjunction with the special exhibition titled “Now Boarding: Experiencing Singapore through Travel, 1800s–2000s.” Get your tickets here.

4. Asia Cat Expo

Here’s a "purr-fect" event for all cat lovers in Singapore! The Asia Cat Expo is a two-day celebration of everything feline-related. It will be filled with activities like informative seminars on cat behaviour and responsible ownership, adoption drives, product demos led by popular pet brands, and games and cat competitions. 5. Cosfest Classic 2023

This weekend is going to be a real treat for anyone who loves anime, cosplay, comics, or video games. Cosfest Classic is a celebration of retro animation, comics, film, and video game series. 

You should not miss rising star Yui Ninomiya, who is the voice behind the song “Ema Hinata” of the TV anime “Aikatsu Friends.” There will also be shops at the event where attendees may purchase creative art pieces crafted by international and local artists and cosplayers.

6. SoleMates Beer Run

Who’s up for a scenic run this weekend? SoleMates Beer Run is a “4k-ish” self-guided run where participants are free to run, walk, jog, and enjoy the race. This family-friendly event welcomes participants of all ages, including children under the age of 17 and their pets.

At each of the rest stops, a selection of soft drinks and, for those who are of legal drinking age, a cold beer, will be waiting to help participants refuel. Those joining are free to run at their own pace but should finish the race by 7 PM. The course will begin at Mischief Esplanade and go all the way to Chimi's Marina Bay, which will serve as the finish line.

7. Smart Nation Builder

Interested in Singapore’s Smart Nation Initiatives? The Government Technology of Singapore organised a roving exhibition that will discuss ways to improve the government's digital offerings. 

Attendees are expected to learn fundamental strategies against phishing scams, how technology can help detect early symptoms of dementia, and other fun interactive activities geared toward families. You can sign up via this link.

8. Summertime Madness: Summer Brunch and Pool Party

Need to let loose but can’t pull an all-nighter? This pool party on Sunday is the perfect event for someone like you. Before bidding summer goodbye, bask in the sun’s final golden rays by attending a rooftop pool deck party filled with four different cuisines and live stations at Sol & Ora. The pool party will feature some of the most impressive sounds, intoxicating frozen cocktail slushies, and exquisite seafood specials. RSVP here.

9. Doggy High Tea

Celebrate International Friendship Day with your four-legged pals at this one-of-a-kind event before the month comes to a close. The Doggy High Tea is an afternoon session where they can sample six different kinds of delicacies crafted especially for them by Shasha Pet Bakery. In-store discounts on human fare are available to customers who bring their pets.

The tea set comes with two pieces of duck pizza, 10 pieces of goat milk poached eggs, one piece of milk and poultry pawfect bites, and six pieces each of pork loin and egg yolk chips, mini chicken sushi, and mini milky bites.

10. Singapore Festival of Football 2023

Ultras are in for a week-long festival treat as the biggest names in football will be playing live in Lion City as part of its preseason camps. Alongside Leicester City, who were just relegated to the Premier League, Liverpool and Tottenham are the other two Premier League teams that are slated to compete in the event.

Fans may get up close and personal with their favorite players during open training sessions on July 29. The first session took place on July 25. For tickets, go here.
