1. Free-flow Craft Beer & Pizza

Pizza and beer? Yes, please! The Dempsey Project and the Off Day Beer Company have teamed up to bring your two favourite things. For two and a half hours, devour as many neo-Neapolitan pizzas as you want and wash all these down with Off Day's refreshing and all-you-can-drink Session IPA and Haze beer. 2. Siao Char Bors Comedy Ft. Robyn Perkins

Women- and queer-friendly comedy open mic night Siao Char Bors Comedy is here to present American comedian Robyn Perkins in a comedy special that tackles misinformation, science, and bisexuality. The event will also see the performances of Latvian drag king Bill Lagoon and local rising drag star Earth Nakha. Get your tickets here.

3. ART SG 2024

ART SG, Southeast Asia's leading global art fair, is back anew with an exciting lineup of new art spaces and international galleries under three areas, namely Galleries, Focus, and Futures. The fair will feature exceptionally curated and multidisciplinary artworks, as well as daily talks, installations, films, and moving images from 68 global and regional galleries, in collaboration with Singapore Art Week. 4. Oevaali Art Shop Opening Weekend

5. Light To Night 2024

Beginning this Jan. 19, the Civic District will transform again into an extraordinary enclave of art, good food, special programmes, and fun with Light To Night 2024. 6. Chinese New Year Clothes Swap

7. Nián Gāo Making Masterclass

Nián gāo is a sweet rice cake that's a staple during the Lunar New Year. Known for symbolising prosperity and unity, this rice cake is one of the meaningful treats you can gift to your loved ones during the festival. 8. Mass Pongal

Learn about Indian culture by participating in one of its sacred traditions, "Pongal," the making of which includes the boiling of rice and stands as the cornerstone of the Pongal festivities. 9. Aquajar Workshop

Aquarium beginners and experienced aquarists, this event is for you! Ikan Billy is holding an Aquajar Workshop this Saturday, where you'll learn, among other things, about the ecology of freshwater aquariums, how to design a mini aquascape, and various planting methods for your aquajar or jarrarium.

The workshop will include a circular glass jar, a clip-on lamp, a substrate, a hardscape, three types of plants, and scaping tools. Sign up for the class here!

10. 'A Reservoir of Time' Exhibition

"A Reservoir of Time," an exhibition curated by Goh Chun Aik, melds the works of artists Lewis Choo, Ge Xiaocong, Hong Shu-ying, and Ivan Ong to showcase each of their own interpretations of time. Exhibited as part of the Objectifs Curator Open Call, the show is an investigation of how we relate with time and encourages viewers to reimagine the ways we think about it.
