1. ACM Conversations With Michael Flecker: 'The Excavation of the Nuestra Senora de la Concepcion' 

History enthusiasts, don't miss Dr. Michael Flecker's talk about the Manila galleon "Nuestra Senora de la Concepcion" happening this week, where he'll share his expertise about the wreck and its excavation, which he was historically a part of. Flecker earned his Ph.D. at the National University of Singapore and has done research on the 10th century Intan wreck, the Vung Tau wreck, early voyaging in the South China Sea, and more.
