1. ACM Conversations With Michael Flecker: 'The Excavation of the Nuestra Senora de la Concepcion' 

History enthusiasts, don't miss Dr. Michael Flecker's talk about the Manila galleon "Nuestra Senora de la Concepcion" happening this week, where he'll share his expertise about the wreck and its excavation, which he was historically a part of. Flecker earned his Ph.D. at the National University of Singapore and has done research on the 10th century Intan wreck, the Vung Tau wreck, early voyaging in the South China Sea, and more. 2. World Vegan Day at Pita House

3. Taste of Thailand: Mango Sticky Rice Cake Workshop

Take in the stirring aroma of coconut cream, paired with sweet ripe mangoes that will transport you to the streets of Thailand. 4. The Purple Parade

Join Singapore's biggest parade in support and celebration of persons with disabilities. 5. High Tea With Furkids

Ever get sepanx when you have to leave your furbabies at home? This event at Hub & Spoke Cafe is for you. High Tea With Furkids is exactly what it sounds like: afternoon tea with your pet! 6. Bump to Bliss: Singapore's Largest Pregnancy Planning Seminar of 2023

8. Christmas Edition Wagashi Workshops

If you love sweets and cute things, these wagashi workshops by Bakefresh Studio this weekend await! Wagashi is a Japanese dessert that is made of rice flour, red beans, and other fruits. Join instructor Jen Ying and learn how to create these edible artworks, from Studio Ghibli's Totoro to Christmas decorations and even Santa Claus and a snowman!
