Good Hood, a haven for food and clothes, will be holding its annual festival (its third iteration) in tandem with the newly minted Good Food fest. To be held at Sermsuk Warehouse, this event is a collaboration with one of Bangkok’s finest tastemakers, Thanudchim, so you know actual good food will be served.
More than 120 restaurants, cafés, and other food vendors will grace the Good Hood and Good Food fest during back-to-back weekends. From Dec. 2 to 4 and 9 to 12, you and your friends can try out Bangkok’s finest. Among the standouts from the hundred-strong line-up are Holiday Pastry by Charoen Nakhon, Yoong Chang, and Fowl Mouth. You can get sampling menus if you are feeling particularly adventurous (and hungry), but you must make reservations to get your seats at this table.
To complement this culinary fest, Good Hood elders handpicked live bands to keep you company all weekend. Four acts will play on each day of the festival, setting a near-perfect scene for you to sit down, relax, and soak in the best Bangkok has to offer. Indie band Rosalyn is going to be a big draw, but honestly, we do not mind sitting through every performance if we get to eat good food while we do it.
Daily passes are available but note that tickets for the first weekend (Dec. 2-5) cost THB100 per day, and those for the second weekend (Dec. 9-12) at THB200 per day.
