Just a few months ahead of its highly anticipated opening, fully integrated smart and sustainable district One Bangkok has partnered with Japan’s largest department store group, Isetan Mitsukoshi Holdings, to bring the latter’s first food destination to Thailand.

Under the joint venture, the two companies will open a Mitsukoshi supermarket and food hall at the One Bangkok Retail space. According to the press release, the soon-to-open Mitsukoshi food destination will span over 4,600 square meters and will house various local and international brands.

At the supermarket, customers can look forward to a range of high-quality fresh produce, fresh meat, and fish from exclusive farmer networks, and trusted Japanese producers.

Meanwhile, the food hall will offer a variety of pastry boutiques, cafes, restaurants, and Japanese vendors, among others.

"Their decision to bring a distinctive Japanese culinary experience courtesy of Mitsukoshi to One Bangkok will enhance our mixed retail tenants as a key anchor, giving an immersive authentic Japanese tradition and experience to Thai residents and international visitors,” said Panote Sirivadhanabhakdi, Group Chief Executive Officer at Frasers Property Limited, One Bangkok’s developer.

One Bangkok is slated to open in the fourth quarter of 2024.
