Art Macao 2023 Returns for Immersive, Modern Art Across Six Cotai Resorts

The Macao International Art Biennale is set to return this summer with the exciting and immersive event, Art Macao 2023, running from now until the end of the year.

The event will be a joint creation by the government, enterprises, artists, and the general public, contributing to the cultural tourism brand, “Macao International Art Biennale”. Six integrated resorts will participate in the event, presenting various influential exhibitions and activities.

Galaxy Entertainment Group will present the special exhibition “BE@RBRICK MACAU: The World's First Immersive BE@RBRICK Art Exhibition”. The exhibition features a dozen international and local artists and designers led by renowned Japanese artist Tatsuhiko “Ryu” Akashi.

Melco Resorts & Entertainment Limited will present the special exhibition, “Mr Doodle: First Exhibition in Macao”. This is the debut exhibition of the famous artist, Mr. Doodle, in Macao. In September, he will host an improvisation session, bringing several world-premiere works that showcase his unique improvisation talent.

MGM will present the special exhibition “To Infinity and Beyond: The Art of Hsiao Chin” at MGM Theatre. The exhibition showcases masterpieces by the great abstract artist of the post-war period, Hsiao Chin. The exhibition explores the relationship between humanity and the universe through a multi-layered multimedia experience interweaved with art and technology.

Sands China Limited will present the special exhibition “Meet the Magic - In Celebration of D100 by Jason Naylor & Philip Colbert”. For the first time, the exhibition will present large-scale artworks created by Jason Naylor and Philip Colbert, inspired by Mickey Mouse, under the theme of Disney’s 100th Anniversary Celebration.

SJM RESORTS, LIMITED, will present the special exhibition “Virtually Versailles”. The exhibition recreates scenes of the Palace of Versailles from the 17th century to the present day using advanced virtual technology, allowing the public to indulge in the grandeur of Versailles and enjoy an innovative, interactive experience.

Wynn Macau, Limited will present the special exhibition “The Contour of Light: A Re-encounter with Leonardo da Vinci”. The exhibition takes the audience into an immersive space that offers a panoramic view of the masterpieces of Leonardo da Vinci, providing the public with a comprehensive and in-depth exploration of the artist’s great works.
