Nightlife MNL: Belle Mariano First Solo Concert, Plus 9 More Hot Events

Another weekend in Manila is upon us and this spells for a jam-packed schedule of concerts and gigs, happy hour and cocktail nights, fresh raves, and club nights you must not miss. We saved you the stress of planning your weekend and week ahead with our rundown of the best nightlife events.

1. Super Junior Fan Party in Manila

Filo E.L.Fs, get excited because Super Junior is coming back to Manila! You’ll get to hear one of the most critically successful K-Pop songs in 2019, “Sorry, Sorry,” live in concert once again. 

According to Wilbros Live, members Leeteuk, Yesung, Shindong, Eunhyuk, Donghae, Siwon, Ryeowook, and Kyuhyun are scheduled to arrive in the country. However, it’s uncertain if Heechul will join them as he was not included in the official poster.

2. ‘Show Me Your Glory’ Manila Tour 2023

Contemporary worship music band Planetshakers is currently on tour and will be making a stop in Manila for three nights! Planetshakers is known for its worship songs “Nothing Is Impossible,” “Turn It Up,” and “Endless Praise,” among others. 

All tickets for the first and second nights were already sold out,  as of this writing. But they've added an extra day so you can still come jam and worship with them on Sunday. Tickets for the third night are still available.

When: 8 PM, July 21-23

3. ‘Beloved’ — Belle Mariano's First Solo Concert 

In her first ever solo concert, New Gen Phenomenal Star Belle Mariano will perform songs from her sophomore album, "Somber." The former “Goin’ Bulilit” star rose to fame after starring in the hit rom-com “He’s Into Her.”

Some of Mariano’s viral song covers include “La Vie En Rose,” “Almost Is Never Enough,” “Halo,” “If I Ain’t Got You,” and “Lowkey,” to name a few.

4. Kim Seon-Ho Fan Meet 2023

Good news, Filo Seonhohadas! Our favorite “good boy” is returning to Manila for the second time this year. The fan meeting is part of Kim Seon-Ho’s endorsement deal with the retail brand Bench. For ticket prices, seat plans, and other details, you may visit this link.

5. PulutanFest 2023

This week’s ultimate food and drink festival, PulutanFest, is a celebration of the Pulutan culture in the Philippines. The city's most popular restaurants will be serving up their distinctive takes on traditional Pulutan fare for one night only.

You can chow down on the legendary sisig from Makati and Marikina, trending grilled balut from Tondo, all-time favorite Mang Larry’s isawan from Quezon City, classic ihaw-ihaw from Cavite, and more. For tickets, go to Pulutanfest.com.

6. Be You 3: The World Will Smile

Back for its third edition, the Be You festival gathers talented K-Pop and OPM artists as part of its tribute to people with cleft lip and palate. 

CIX, APink, Nam Woo-hyun of Infinite, Lee Minhyuk aka HUTA of BTOB, Nobita Band, Jhong Hilario, Vhong Navarro, and Ice Seguerra are just a few of the highly anticipated artists at the festival.

7. ‘Show Me Love’ Englot Fan Meet in Manila

Witness Englot’s undeniable chemistry live! This coming weekend, fans of the Thai television series, "Show Me Love" starring Engfa Waraha and Charlotte Austin, will have the opportunity to meet with the actresses in Manila.

"Show Me Love" follows the story of Meena (Engfa) who moved to Bangkok to chase her dreams, where she would meet Cherine (Charlotte) who encouraged her to join a beauty pageant. Throughout the story, an unexpected relationship develops between the two main characters.

8. Sabrina Carpenter 'Emails I Can't Send' Tour

If you’re an avid TikTok user, chances are you've heard the song "Nonsense" by Sabrina Carpenter, which was featured in one of the trending dance challenges on the platform.

This upcoming Tuesday is your chance to catch her live on stage as she performs songs from her "emails i can't send" album. Carpenter made her debut as Maya Hart in the Disney Channel series “Girl Meets World” in 2014.

9. Peach Tree Rascals Live in Manila

Peach Tree Rascals, a five-piece band based in California, will perform their collective music in Manila. The group consists of Dominic “Dom” Pizano (producer/mixer), Issac Pech, Tarrek Abdel-Khaliq (rapper-singer), Joseph Barros (rapper-singer), and Jorge Olazaba (creative director).

The band's song "Mariposa" has proven to be a big hit with TikTok's audience of young people who use the app to make short travel videos and dance to the music.

10. DHRUV in Asia 2023 Live in Manila

Dhruv Sharma, better known by his stage name DHRUV, is a young pop artist from India who was raised in Singapore. He launched his musical career in 2019. After the release of his debut single "double take" in 2022, he became well-known for his silky R&B tracks.

This Tuesday, you can see him play his songs live, including “moonlight,” “airplane thoughts,” and “vulnerable,” to name a few.
