After lending her voice to numerous advertisements, including a memorable voiceover for Philippine Airlines that went viral on social media, Filipina voice talent and content creator Inka Magnaye has reached another milestone in her career—working on a DC superhero movie.

Warner Bros. Philippines recently announced that Inka will be the voice behind the Scarab, an ancient alien technology and artificial intelligence important to the storyline, in the Philippine release of the highly anticipated superhero film "Blue Beetle."

Inka took to Instagram to share behind-the-scenes snapshots from the recording session, expressing her excitement about achieving one of her lifelong dreams. As a special treat for Filipino fans, some of the Scarab's lines will be in Tagalog, so be sure to listen closely when watching the movie in theaters.

Coming from a family of voice artists, Inka has always had a passion for voicework. In an interview with The Beat Asia, she candidly expressed her love for the craft, saying, "It feels like such a shallow thing to say, but I love it because I'm so good at it."

Warner Bros. has confirmed that Inka will receive proper recognition in the movie, with her name included in the credits. "Blue Beetle" is the next DC film slated for release after "The Flash." The movie follows the journey of Jaime Reyes, portrayed by Xolo Maridueña of "Cobra Kai," as he discovers an ancient relic of alien technology, the Scarab, which selects him as its host, granting him a powerful suit of armor and extraordinary abilities.

Don't miss the opportunity to catch "Blue Beetle" in Philippine cinemas starting Aug. 16, and listen out for Inka's exceptional voice acting as the Scarab. For more updates on "Blue Beetle," be sure to follow DC on Instagram.
