The “world’s simplest cash hunt,” #HuntTheMouse by gamification company Sqkii, makes its return this year with a bigger cash prize pool!
From today until Nov. 9, locals and tourists in Singapore can participate in the hunt and get a chance to win a grand prize of SG$500,000. For its fifth edition, the event pools a total of SG$1,000,000, hidden across various places in the country.
During the event, participants are on a quest to search for 300 silver coins, each carrying a value of either SG$2,500 or SG$500. There is only one gold coin, valued at SG$500,000, hidden in a secret location.

Each player, also known as hunters, is encouraged to follow hints and the real-time map on the game's website to be able to locate these coins and redeem their corresponding cash value.
For those who need an extra hand, the game also launches four new power-up features: the Coin Sonar, which allows hunters to scan the area around them for precise location for a silver coin; the Metal Detector, which lets players use their phone as a metal detector when they’re in an area near a coin; the Beacon, which gives participants discounted power-up usage for ten minutes; and the Pedometer, which tracks the player’s steps while on the hunt and rewards them with Crystals (used to obtain gold coin hints and eliminate locations) for hitting a target count.
To take part in the hunt, open the game’s landing page on your mobile phone and use the map to locate the coins. You can also watch out for daily hints on Sqkii’s Facebook, Instagram, and Telegram channels.
Sqkii's #HuntTheMouse makes a grander return after a successful edition in 2023, which pooled a total cash prize of SG$100,000.
Hurry and join in on #HuntTheMouse now to win cash!

The cult-classic and global smash hit musical “Beetlejuice – The Musical” is making its way to the Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay – in January 2026, and only for a strictly limited season.
Fresh out of their critically acclaimed run in Melbourne and right ahead of its highly anticipated return to Broadway, “Beetlejuice – The Musical” will be arriving in Singapore in full Broadway scale and spectacle.
The eight-time Tony Award-nominated musical will star Andy Karl, one of Broadway’s most celebrated performers, in the titular role. A three-time Tony nominee for his roles in “Groundhog Day,” “Rocky,” and “Moulin Rouge! The Musical,” Karl will be bringing his rare level of theatrical pedigree and comedic chaos to the Singapore stage.

The musical is presented by Michael Cassel Group and Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures. This production continues the former’s commitment to delivering world-class theatrical experiences across the Asia-Pacific region and the world, following the sold-out seasons of “Hamilton,” “& Juliet,” and “The Lion King.”

Based on Tim Burton’s Academy Award-winning 1988 film, “Beetlejuice – The Musical” follows the story of Lydia Deetz, a goth teenager obsessed with the afterlife, who summons a delightfully demented demon to scare her horrible parents. What follows is a jaw-dropping, genre-bending adventure through the land of the living (and the dead), complete with exorcisms, sandworms, a haunted house, and one extremely unfiltered ghost.
The production is directed by Alex Timbers (Moulin Rouge!) with an original score by Eddie Perfect (King Kong) and choreography by Connor Gallagher. The show has won fans’ hearts across generations and continents with its high-energy performances, eye-popping stage sets, and cheeky humor.

“Beetlejuice – The Musical” in Singapore will have the original Broadway set design and costume designs, a kaleidoscopic lighting and projection, and special effects that transform the stage into a fast-moving netherworld of the hilarious and the horrifying.
The production will be staged at the Esplanade Theatre, Singapore’s largest performing stage. Modelled after a traditional horse-shaped layout, the Esplanade Theatre is uniquely suited to delivering the engaging, immersive chaos of Beetlejuice in all its haunted glory.
Tickets will be available to the public from July 3, 2025, with exclusive pre-sale access available via Ticketek Singapore. Fans may join the waitlist to secure early access and some exclusive pre-sale offers.
