Jay Fai Teams Up With Korea’s Shin Ramyun for a New Noodle Flavour
Dubbed the street food queen in Bangkok, Supinya Junsuta, popularly known as Jay Fai, is teaming up with South Korea's leading instant noodle brand Shin Ramyun by Nongshim to create a new ramyeon flavour, according to an Instagram post by Nongshim Thailand on Sept. 7.
As part of the Jayfai x Nongshim collaboration, the illustrious Thai chef went on a trip to the Gumi Nongshim plant along with the special participation of South Korean actor Park Bo Gum.
Jay Fai has become a household name in the culinary world since her iconic crab omelettes earned the coveted Michelin star in 2017. She became recognized as the apron-wearing, beanie-sporting, ski goggles-toting chef who deftly cooked over a charcoal stove in the Netflix docuseries "Street Food," which premiered in 2019, further exposing her culinary skill to a global audience.
While the eagerly anticipated release date of this collaboration is currently unknown, make sure to follow Nongshim Thailand on Instagram for the latest updates.
