GOT7’s Youngjae Shoots ‘Errr Day’ in Bangsean Beach in Saeng Suk

GOT7 royalty Youngjae must really love Thailand as he went back to the country, in Saeng Suk this time, for his new music video for “Errr Day.” The single is his first release in 2023 as a solo artist.

He shot in Bang Sean (or Bangsean) Beach, which is about 100 kilometres away from Bangkok, and is often a favorite destination for locals wanting a quick excursion. The beach’s claim to fame is that between October and February, the usually muddy waters become almost transparent due to a natural phenomenon.

Saeng Suk Mayor Wittaya Khunpleum took to Facebook to thank the K-Pop star for choosing Bang Sean:

“Our home beach is famous in Korea when Youngjae, a member of GOT7, came to shoot his new MV for the song ‘Errr Day’ at Bangsaen beach. I am so proud that we have developed the beach so well that, today, Bangsaen is beautiful and popular among Thais and foreigners.”

“This time, a world-class artist like Youngjae chose Bangsaen for shooting his new MV. I am certain that there must be many ahgases (fans) following in Youngjae’s footsteps. This will be a good opportunity to promote Bangsaen worldwide and stimulate tourism in Chonburi. Thanks once again, Youngjae.”

Youngjae’s first visit to Thailand is when he, alongside BamBam (long live the prince), Jinyoung, and Mark, went to the country to hunt for seven local wonders for a show called “GOT7 Real Thai” in 2019. Since then, the group, along with Blackpink, has garnered an intense Thai fanbase owing to their Thai members: BamBam for GOT7 and Lisa for Blackpink.

Follow his journey from Korea to Thailand with this behind-the-scenes look for the MV’s shoot.
