Not a Prank! IKEA Is Serving a Tomato Scrambled Egg Ice Cream Until April 3

Curious what an ice cream would taste like if it were made of tomatoes and scrambled eggs? Satisfy your curiosity by heading to the nearest IKEA Bistro around the city and tasting their Tomato Scrambled Egg ice cream, available until April 3.

In a short clip posted by IKEA Hong Kong during April Fool’s Day, netizens thought that the release was just another joke, just like what everyone is posting online. A follow-up post then confirmed that this furniture brand with a bistro is not joking, and yes, they’re serving Tomato Scrambled Egg ice cream to everyone.

It might be a suspicious-looking cold treat for others, but IKEA is still inviting everyone, especially curious minds, to enjoy the classic Hong Kong-style homecooked dish in it’s frozen form.

Hurry, get your cones ready, and swirl this cold treat available at all IKEA Bistros located around the city, except for the Sha Tin branch.
