1. 'No Public Address Systems: De La Haze'

Jazz places are hard to come by, but they aren't extinct. There are still a few good ones left in the metro if you know where to look. This Friday evening, neighborhood jazz bar 78-45-33's "No Public Address Systems" – its series of live jazz nights – will be presenting "De La Haze." Jam to jazz artists Dan Gil, Marga Jayy, Enrique Santamaria, and Alex Price as you nibble on the bar's crowd favorite truffle popcorn and sample its maskara platter and latest cocktail "Zoe's Dirty Chocolate Cream Soda." 2. Summer Jam Gig

3. Jeck Pilpil & Peacepipe's 'Set It Free' Album Launch

Fans of reggae are no stranger to Filipino band Jeck Pilpil & Peacepipe, known for hits like "Watawat," "We Are Poor," "Sweet Reggae Music," and "Filipina Island Gyal," among others. This Friday, the band will be launching its fifth album and will be joined by fellow reggae artists Lion and the Scouts and Marcus Moon, as well as alternative rock band Katha Na.

4. Tribute to Beatles Night

If you're a self-proclaimed Beatles fan, this tribute night at iconic live music bar Hard Rock Cafe should be a must-go. None other than Beatles cover band Love Me Dudes will be taking over the event to sing all the English rock band's greatest hits! While you're at it, chow down on hearty, greasy fare like cheeseburgers, sizzling sisig, baby back ribs, ribeye steak, grilled pork belly, and more. For drinks, the cafe offers cocktails, wine, beer, and premium spirits.

5. 'Jeremiah Tiangco: Dare To Be Different' Concert

Jeremiah Tiangco, the second grand champion of GMA's singing competition "The Clash," will be holding his first-ever major concert this weekend. All set to kick off his music career, Tiangco will be having guest artists in his "Dare To Be Different" concert, such as Christian Bautista, Mariane Osabel, This Band, and The Viktor Project, among many others. 7. SUD x Johnoy Danao Gig

SUD and Johnoy Danao in one night? Yes, please! This back-to-back intimate gig is perfect for you if you're after a chill night with good music from some of the country's OPM greats. Be serenaded and soothed by SUD, known for songs like "Sana Bumalik" and "Dumaloy," to name a few, followed by the familiar tunes of Danao, whose albums "Dapithapon," "Samu't-Sari," and "Salubungan" have been embedded among the best of the indie scene. This gig has "very limited slots" only, so message and make your reservations pronto!

8. Lola Amour Gig

If you happen to find yourself in Bataan this weekend, seven-piece indie band Lola Amour will be in the area to play at Vista Mall. Known for experimenting in different genres such as modern rock, funk, and pop, Lola Amour started between two rival bands, Sinigang Na Baboy and Decaf, before merging to become the group it is today. Among its most popular songs are "Fallen," "Pwede Ba," "Maybe Maybe," and "Sundan Mo Ko."

9. Autotelic, Gracenote, The Vowels They Orbit, Hey June! Gig

A gig is the perfect thing to cap off the hump day. For more indie music, head on over to 19 East next Wednesday night to catch rock bands Autotelic, Gracenote, The Vowels They Orbit, and Hey June! As seats are on a first-come, first-served basis, it is recommended that you head to the venue early with your gang. Reservations are not allowed!

10. Urbandub, Chicosci & Typecast Gig

Rock fans, this gig is not to be missed. Catch Urbandub, Chicosci, and Typecast under one roof next Thursday for a crazy, rockin' night! Jam with these legendary rockstars, who are known for hits such as "First of Summer," "Raspberry Girl," and "Will You Ever Learn" and headbang your night away.
