While schools in the Philippines formally returned to face-to-face classes, the enrollment for the International State College of the Philippines (ISCP) is still ongoing and classes will start on Sept. 26, 2022.

In case you don’t know about the ISCP yet, we are here to help! The ISCP is a satire or parody university born out of Filipino humor and clever wit and has been trending on Facebook recently, proclaiming itself as “one of the most prestigious colleges that exist[s] in the universe.”

If sarcasm’s your humor and you enjoy riding satirical jokes, we’ve enrolled at the ISCP and discovered some chaotic yet hilariously funny things about the university.

Courses or Majors Without a Purpose

Deciding what to major in college is important as it significantly helps with your employment prospects in the future. In ISCP, you might find it harder to make up your mind to choose which are the best courses available.

If you think you’ve got what it takes to be the next Jedi knight, the Jedi Arnis is offered at ICSP-Kamparas Extension where students can learn to use lightsabers. However, students are initially required to master the use of weapon-based fighting using sticks, knives, and open-hand techniques.

As of writing, its Facebook page has garnered more than 927,000 followers and 51,300 members on Discord. Yep! The ISCP built a community in Discord using the server name, ISCP E-Youth Council, which serves as a platform to further interact with other ISCPanians aka “Blue Barking Aspins” through different channels.

According to ISCP’s Facebook post, the satire university was founded by a certain video creator named Niño Ged. In a separate post, he expressed his gratitude to those who “brought the ISCP to life” and contributed to make the satire university prominent in the country.

For those who love the ocean and marine life, ICSP offers the Bachelor of Science (BS) in Marine Biology, a four-year program that allows students to learn in-depth about marine life and its ecosystems through different concepts and theories. Hence, students should learn how to get through Atlantis for their lectures.

For students who are passionate about the arts, humanities, and social studies, the ISCP – Moon Campus offers Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology Major in Gaslighting or Major in Psychopathy Machiavellis. On the other hand, the Biringan Campus has BS in Reverse Psychology, which serves as an “additional coursework” for psychology courses.

Other academic programs that’ll amuse you are BS in Architecture Major in Minecraft, BS in Mechanical Engineering Major in Carnapping, BS in Cosmology Major in Rejuvenating Set, BS in Nursing Major in Faith Healing, BS in Biology Major in Homosexual Development, BS in Culinary Arts Major in Fire Bending, BS in Meteorology Major in Planetary Defense, BS in Chemistry Major in Bomb-Making Apparatus, BA in Mass Communication Major in Community Information Gathering and Relaying Systems, BA in Philosophy Major in Atheism, BS in Hospitality Management Major in Pinagpalit, and more.

Intergalactic Campuses

Satellite campuses are constructed for students who live too far from the main campus. With the use of ISCP’s state-of-the-art transportation system, it ensures that students from across the Philippines, the world, and even the solar system can acquire the "most inaccessible and inhospitable" education at the university.

The ISCP branch campuses include the Sun and Moon campuses, Jupiter Campus, Biringan Campus, Amazon Campus, Antarctica Campus, Atlantis Campus, Low Earth Orbit Campus, Overseas, and Roblox.

For other educational programs, the ISCP also has extensions including Las Vegas (U.S.), Siberia, Bermuda, Encantadia, Chernobyl, Hardvard, DJ Loonyo International Airport, and Kamparas.

Out of this World (Literally!) School Service

The ISCP looks after their students’ welfare by providing questionably convenient access to transportation when going to different campuses or extensions. They offer Libreng Sakay (free ride) bound to Sun, Moon, and Jupiter Campuses. However, the management is still improving its services to increase the survival rates of the students during the trip.

To provide traffic-free and faster travel for ISCPanians, students can now use the cable car transit for free transportation available all over the National Capital Region only.

Meanwhile, fresh graduates of the ISCP Engineering department are “working 26/7” to fix various space shuttles to launch the Libreng Sakay sa Space Shuttle Program (LSSS) to provide additional transportation bound to the solar system campus from Earth and vice versa.

Free Food (Poisoning) From the Canteen

The ISCP wouldn’t let their students attend classes with an empty stomach. The school canteen offers food for free prepared by Hibachi Chefs with a one percent chance of food poisoning.

Students must not miss this accredited meal from Tappa which includes free soup and 4,320 grains of rice (half a cup of rice). Every time you order at Tappa, you will receive free ISCP stickers.
