Stefanie Sun to Kick Off Comeback Tour in Singapore Early 2025
Singaporean singer Stefanie Sun is meeting us after sunset as she embarks on her first concert tour in over ten years!
The Mandopop songstress made the announcement on her social media account on Oct. 15 after posting a short video teaser hinting at the tour the day before. The last frame of the video showed the words: “Sun Yanzi In Concert” and “Aut Nihilo,” which translates to “or out of nothing” in Latin.
She released more details the following day, revealing that the tour will have a two-day kick-off in Singapore on Apr. 5 and 6, 2025. The tour coincides with the artist’s 25th year in showbiz and will be stopping in other major Asian cities such as Shanghai, Shenzhen, Beijing, Nanjing, Chongqing, Hong Kong, Malaysia, and Taiwan. Other dates, venues, and ticket prices will be announced at a later date.
Stefanie rose to fame in 2000 after launching her self-titled album “Yan Zi.” Her last concert tour, “Kepler” took place in 2014 through 2015 and included a stop at Singapore’s National Stadium on July 5, 2014. She originally planned to go on tour in 2020 but it was cancelled due to the pandemic.
The Chinese name of her 2025 tour, “Jiuzai Riluo Yihou” can be translated as “just after sunset.” Meanwhile, her previous canceled tour was titled, “Jiuzai Riluo Yiqian” which meant “just before sunset.” The singer referenced this in the caption of her tour announcement as she said: “We couldn't get together before sunset, so we'll celebrate after sunset! I hope I can make good memories with you this time.”
