Yurakucho: Summer Izakaya Dining & Tokyo-Inspired Happy Hours
June 21, 2023
Right in the heart of Central, Yurakucho is set to redefine your weekday lunches with its izakaya-inspired menu that reflects the vibrant energy of Tokyo's hidden gado-shita areas. Available from Monday to Wednesday, between 12 PM and 2:30 PM, the three-course set lunch echoes the bold, diverse flavours of Japan starting at just HK$148.
Your meal opens with a mixed salad and tsukemono, leading the way to an array of mains. Choose from dishes like grilled red rock fish, chicken thigh straight from the live robatayaki grill, or the vegetarian-friendly miso mushroom Portobello. If you prefer Tokyo's Ginza district classics, pork cutlet tonkatsu with curry sauce or flame-grilled wagyu burger steak are among the offerings. Dessert of the day, paired with a refreshing tea or coffee, wraps up the set, with the option to enhance your meal with unique sides.

As day turns to evening, Yurakucho's gado-shita inspired happy hour takes centre stage from 5 PM to 7 PM, Monday to Saturday. Join the underground vibe of Tokyo with an array of highballs, including the “Sonic on Tap”, wines, and prosecco, or upgrade your experience with a selection of premium cocktails and house spirits.
For a seasonal twist, Yurakucho’s Summer Special menu embraces refreshing and delicate flavours. Cream Cheese with Dashi-Brine and Sesame, Seafood Pancake, Cold Soba, and Anago Tempura headline the menu; with the Uni Cold Inaniwa Udon, brimming with Sea Urchin, Salmon Roe, Crab Roe, and Chives, as a standout choice.
